Has anyone else seen legion? I'm not christian, so i have no idea how acurate it was according to the bible, but it was an interesting movie. I basically put up with the religion in it to see the gory stuff. I think it is a sort of christian propaganda, made to make the religion more interesting to younger (teens/early 20) crowds. What are your opinions on it?

The Book of Eli was kinda religous too, the book being a King James Bible. Despite it having a somewhat religous plot it didn't really affect me as an Atheist so I doubt it made religion for appealing for the younger crowd.
I expect Legion to be the same.

I've only seen the trailers, but it looks almost to be the opposite... Isn't it about "God" sending angels to kill mankind?

From what I hear, it's effectively God's way of dealing with us, since he made that covenant not to flood again. God gets ticked at where humanity is going, calls down the hosts of Heaven to flatten us. We get one rogue angel and a bunch of schmucks in a diner to save us all. xd

It was that god was mad, so he sent his kids to kill humans. Michael said "I gave him what he needed, you gave him what he wanted" to his -brother?- Gabriel. Michael was the angel that cut off his own wings to fight on the side of the human. Gabriel was the angel that led the attack on mankind

that not entirely true even according to your christian beliefs... normally when your god wants to make some death on a mass scale he uses floods and meteors and volcanoes... ect.... he isn't well know for snapping his fingers and making it happen...

Is the movie getting good reviews?
It's not my type of movie so I'm not sure if I'll go see it. It doesn't sound like Christian propaganda to me though. Usually Christians get a bit touchy about such stories deviating from the bible, even if it is fiction.

Not sure, but I did see Angels versus Demons, which was a cool idea.
It had a religious view all the way till the end where it flipped it, showing the whole movie was getting to an Atheistic view.
It wasn't the moral of the movie, just how they did that which was cool.
