Tears of the Damaged Soul

God's word is a wonderful tool. It's described as many things such as: God's love letter, a manual, the good book, and it's said to be the sword in when it comes down to putting on the full armor of the Lord. It has the answers to many of life's mysteries.
I find it to be vital that we study it. Not only does it hold the key to life's mysteries but it also reveals who God is and his plans for each our lives as believers. Suggestions as to what would be good study topics are more than welcome to be made known here. Thank you and God bless.

we're still in the midst of establishing leadership. So it's going to take time for things to be up and running.

I'm thinking about starting a study on anger, gossip and possibly homosexuality. What do you think?

One of the other members also suggested he do one on fasting. That would be interesting.

Hello there. I wanted to add about your saying about the Bible with a poem that I found on the net. Quote: This Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christian's charter. Christ is its subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully. It is given to you in life, will be open in the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor, and condemns all who trifle with its holy precepts. Anyways, I am looking forward to the studies. My suggestion is if we are to study the Bible (Which I think is a very good thing and very necessarily to do so that we grow more in Christ), I would suggest reading the whole book of Proverbs because it is one of the most practical books in the Bible.
