A bullet hell shooter for the gamecube, that had a similiar style to touhou?
Flying people instead of space ships,
Japanese landscapes, buildings, etc floating in the backround,
Colorful bullets, kunais, knives, etc.
Anyone? I recall reading a article on it several years ago in an old issue of nintendo power, (Like, when they used the golden stars to rate games instead of the 1-10 scale) and I can't remember anything except that it was really similiar to touhou when I recall the screenshots and sescription.

I remember something called Castle Shikigami, or something of the sort... i was a bullet hell shooter, but I think it was for the Wii. Maybe something along those lines?

PCB Alice Margatroid You're both right- There's also Gigawing. Eeveot I remember something called Castle Shikigami, or something of the sort... i was a bullet hell shooter, but I think it was for the Wii. Maybe something along those lines? What I'm talking about, I saw like, 3-5 years ago, before the wii existed, or was called the "revolution". Don't remember much other then it said bullet hell, and looked really similiar to the touhou we have now. Also: Multiplayer with two differant screens a la PoFV. (not sure if it was VS though.)

Regardless, Touhou is still better.

Great, you mentioned Ikaruga... When I first played that I was trying to dodge ALL the bullets instead of the opposite color's, then I realized I could switch colors as well)
Castle Shikigami... The one game I could never get to work on my PC because I can never properly burn a CD for it. I heard the English version had horrible voice acting because they translated everything literally.

If I wasn't about to go to sleep, I'd be looking up EVRYTHING mentioned here aside from Ikaruga. Then I'd probably go, "Hey, I remember that!" or something of that sort after realizing I'd probably seen it breifly somwhere.
But nope, I have to get up for work later, because life is like that.
