The Unholy Shadow Jerba Come to think of it, I used to like Artemis Fowl until they came out with a graphic novel of it. ...Remaking books as graphic novels does not help. It sucks. 
I thought the Vampire Hunter D ones were done quite well.

I know Spongebob has a few "cinemangas", but they're pretty crappy. It's litterally just screencaps from the episodes with speach bubbles. Still, I'm gunna bring up these horrid things at the next Graphic Litterature (AKA Comic Book) club meeting. I'm pretty sure 98% of the kids in the club will be pissed.

The Anti-Twilight Riot its an utter disgrace to all anime and manga. NOM Which is why I plan to tell the kids in the comic book club at school about it. It would make for an interesting debate, though the majority would be on my side. The kids in there are geeks, but awesome geeks. Also, my review of this "graphic novel" got posted on the Borders website! I'm waiting for a Twitard to get it pulled. I was looking through the EW previews again, and I noticed that artist kinda blows at making backgrounds. Every background I saw was usually a picture that was rendered to look like it belonged in the shot... I know they do this in manga sometimes, but it looked like a lot of shots had this.
Than again, I guess this is perfect for a book that focuses on the pretty people.
EDIT: I just went to the Borders page to read the review... list price is $19.99?! How big is this thing?! Talk about milking the Twihards for all they're worth!
