He laughed out loud as she mentioned the fountain, knowing full well that she had read about it. He apparently didn't mind taking full credit either, "That was fun." He said fondly as he wiped away imaginary tears of joy. "I'd do that again if I had the right car."

"And it's not that I like to be sloppy" He suddenly got mildly serious since the subject was important to him... "I like to be planned sometimes too, it's just that I like to feel that no one can control me... " Not his 'mother' not Alexander, not fate... "Not even me." He sighed. "When I steal a car, or borrow it as Meis insisted on saying... when I steal a car suddenly and someone tells me to park it in the fountain, then there's no way that anyone could have seen that coming, and nobody is in control of my life when I don't want them to be."

Again, his laughter tugged at the corners of her lips, and she simply covered her mouth to hide the coming smile. Somehow, smiling at this point in her life felt wrong.

As his demeanor became more serious, the jivviness reflected him, losing the upturn of her lips and becoming quiet. She listened, truly interested in what he had to say, now that he had set aside a bit of the show for the moment.

"Control is a facade," she finally commented after a pause. "There are too many variables to always be in control, though... It hasn't stopped many higher intelligence creatures from trying over the ages." Stazja thought of her sister in Greece, and more recently, her Fa'e brother and his ripples that tore through her family. The topic alone gave her a headache.

"So you like spontaneous?" A quick glance to a nearby street sign coupled with a moment of mental file sorting brought a crooked grin to her features.

"I do." He tried to follow her gaze as it darted off but wasn't able to. The sudden change of her demeanor excited him, although he did his best not to show it. "I live for it.... what did you have in mind?" He grinned as he stepped in closer to her. "Or are you not premeditating this at all?" That would be exciting...

He mentally racked his brains over the things around them, and could honestly say he didn't see anything that scared him... he prepared himself for whatever she might throw at him, and smiled long red ear to long red ear as he waited (somewhat) patiently for her to speak again.

This was almost the best part.

"Then we're going to need a cab," she mused. "Or my car, but I don't exactly trust you even in the passenger seat." Her eyebrow raised as she attempted to chide him with only a gaze.

Either way, the jivviness practically glowed in preemptive excitement for their destination. After all, thanks to the weather it had been ages since she had been back to the place. It was time to scratch her itch.

Elayeth grinned and stepped out into the street. Jamming his middle finger and a thumb into his mouth he whistled, loud and clear, one shrill note. As he spun back around to face the beautiful dark jivvin in front of him he grinned. "Nope. I don't blame you, there's no trusting me in any place in any car." As the cab rolled up behind him, he grabbed the door handle and held the door open gentlemanly for her.

"Your ride, M'lady?"

"Doubly noted, then." She chuckled slightly at his antics, allowing herself to be lost in the moment. When he held open the door for her, she gracefully slid herself into the back seat while murmuring a 'thanks' in Elay's direction. Then, she wasted no time telling the driver their destination before her gentleman could hear her.

When he finally joined her in the backseat, she curled her tail around herself and out of the way. "I hope you have strong legs and a resilient crotch," she stated seriously, stealing a look over to him and cocking an eyebrow. He could take that as he wished.

He raised his eyebrows in surprise and his mouth curled slightly in a half smile... almost as if he wasn't sure he was even allowed to smile at this point. He made a point to not curl his tail up, and instead let it lay comfortably on the seat between them both. Looking up past the driver as the cab pulled back out into the traffic, he found words for her.

"I realize that that can't possibly mean what it sounds like it does, but I'm going to day dream about it all the same." He leaned his head back and closed his eyes as if he could see it in his head and then laughed. "Ahhh. You can't make statements like that while changing my life... it's too much excitement for me all at once. My brain will implode."

He jerked his head forward and grinned at her. "See? This is what I mean! We were going for Thai food... boring old, take the girl out to dinner Thai food." not that having a girl as pretty as Staz wasn't boost enough for the red jivvin... "and now we're off to who knows where! To do who knows what! Adventure with beautiful women! This is the life!"

Stazja couldn't help but allow the evil grin that she had been holding back escape as he reacted to her statement. Of course she knew the double meaning of her statement, and she used it as an experiment of sorts. At least, that's how she explained it to herself.

The tip of her tail flicked in her lap as she listened to him. "How does a statement like -that- change your life, hmm?" She asked, turning slightly in the seat to somewhat face him before pausing in mock thought. "Though, I guess going to Barton and pimping you out to big, burly men would fall under the 'life changing' category..."

As if she had timed it, the cab pulled onto a long dirt road, bumping around as it made its way closer to their destination.

He leaned around so that he was sitting sideways, moved his left elbow up onto the back window's dash, and propped his head up on his hand casually. Grinning at her, he shook his head slowly. "It won't work. I have a best friend in the whole world, and I have the confidence that he'll come to save me right at the nick of time when I get into trouble." Then he closed his eyes again as if he were imagining, but this time he looked shocked and his eyes snapped open with a grin. "Nope. Big burley men just don't give me the same imaginary lover's pleasure as the thought of you does." He shrugged. "Sorry."

He had to adjust himself slightly, as the road became bumpier, in order to still be able to sit without falling into her. He didn't want her to think he was 'making a move' and have her clout him on his pretty ears.

"I feel like that it is now not only a test, but a blatent challenge as well." Her eyes practically gleamed with a hunger to cause trouble with this male jivvin. If possible, her grin widened when he played to her burly man comment, and she herself attempted to look offended for something he said.

Composing herself, or at least attempting to, Stazja sat herself up straighter and ignored the bumpiness of the road. "What if I said, don't knock it till you try it? Or something else with a similar meaning?" She quickly tilted her head up and to the side slightly, questioning him even further with her eyes.

By that time, the cab had pulled into what appeared to be a large farm or ranch with wide stretches of land with horses milling about here and there. Workers paid them no mind, tending to the animals and their other tasks. A tall woman soon came out of the main house, walking steadily towards the cab.

Stazja, overwhelmed with happiness and excitement, forgot entirely about Elay and practically bounded out of the cab, tail unwinding so fast that the tip ended up whacking Elay in the face.

"Alcippe!" She praised, closing the distance between them quickly and embraced what appeared to be the owner, who smiled, returning the gesture before stepping backwards.

"Anastazja," the woman said with a thick accent, "What can I do for you? You want to ride?"

The jivviness nodded, apparently forgetting entirely about Elay and the cab fare, for now.

Elayeth paid the driver without a second thought and spared the man a grin before he climbed out of the car. "Looks like we're going riding... don't know what we're riding, but that's apparently what's happening."

He watched the man speed away after getting his money and then turned to Stazia and the older woman. He let a smile show on his face, but the truth was, he really enjoyed watching moments like this one... like moments at the airport, when people who hadn't seen each other in quite a while got to hug again and exclaim how happy they were that the other was still alive and well and now in their company.

He delighted in the personal change in Stazia as she embraced the other woman... it was almost like seeing a whole new person, but Elayeth knew that what he was seeing was a piece of the 'real' Staz.... and it was something to see for sure.

He stood behind the dark jivviness and surveyed the grounds pleasantly, leaving room for her to ignore him, or introduce him.

While Elay took care of the cab fare and gathered himself behind her, Stazja and the older woman exchanged a few questions and answers in another language. Alcippe turned her strong, brown eyes onto the male with an odd sort of strength laced with automatic distrust.

"Who are you?" She asked, her heavily accented voice almost accusing him of a nonexistent crime.

Stazja stepped to the side just enough to provide Alcippe with a clearer view of the male jivvin. However, she kept her position as a possible buffer between him and her friend. "He is no threat," she said first and foremost. Then, after Alcippe visibly relaxed, did the jivvin decide to actually introduce the male. "This is Elayeth. I found him in a grocery store." There was a pause as she considered that statement. "Now, I'm going to see if he can ride."

The two women shared smiles and a knowing look. Alcippe's grin soon became wide. "I have a horse for him that is perfect. One moment." At that, the woman disappeared into the direction of what appeared to be stables.

The teen watched the woman leave before turning to Elay. "Have you ever ridden a horse before?" Her eyebrow rose and her tail swished pleasantly behind her. For the moment, she remained excited and happy for the day's detour. Curious too, about how this detour would eventually turn out.
