Some of you might remember a topic called Top Ten Things That Sound Cool When Spoken By A Giant Robot.' I've decided that to kick off 2010, I would do a remake/parody with some of our favorite Decepticons! Let's give a big hand to our co-hosts Megatron and Starscream! ('cause they'll kill us otherwise)
*applause*
Megatron: What are we doing among all these fleshlings? Better yet, how the frag did we get here?!? scream
Starscream: I vaguely recall a bet... and a lot of energon... ooooh my head…
Me: Thanks for coming! Let’s start with Number 1!
1- “Boom De Yada”
Me: Some of you might recall a Discovery Channel commercial with a certain Autobot singing ( question ). I don’t know how some of you reacted to that, but besides geeking out over seeking Prime I was also excited about the thought that we might be seeing more Transformers on T.V. that might not necessarily involve Bay- which makes me very excited. How about you fellows?
Megatron: Frankly, I don’t give a slag about what Optimus does as his second job. If his operation is so poorly-funded that he needs to mooch valueless Earth-currency from rabid fans, that’s his problem.
Starscream:*mutter* At least he has an actual job. *mutter*
Megatron: What was that?!?
Starscream: Nothing, oh Lord Megatron…
Me: Next on our list!
2- “Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah wheep ni ni bong” (Found on Yamato1’s sig. Credit-where-credit’s-due kind of thing)
Me: No idea what it means, but it sounds impressive!
Starscream: Impressive nothing. It basically means-
Megatron: Don’t say it! You say it and Unicron will come and eat us all!!!
Starscream: Come on, you still believe what Soundwave said about that being a prayer of vengeance?
Megatron: Who’s talking about Soundwave? My mom told me that!
Starscream: …
Me: ...Aaaaaanny way, let’s move on…
3- Puns
Me: One thing that Cybertronians never seem to tire of is using puns (Usually very bad ones). However, unlike humans- who just look stupid when say puns- Cybertronians seem to pull this off quite well.
Megatron: ‘Pull’ off, yes. Like when I ripped Jazz in half. He he, “I want you in two.” I kill myself sometimes.
Starscream: And sometimes you get killed by hormonally-driven fleshlings. If I were leader… *mutter mutter*
Megatron: TH- WHA- THAT DOESN’T COUNT! IT ISN’T G1!
4- “If only I could believe that.”
Me: Living proof that only giant robots can pull this off! Example- If Marvin the Depressed Robot said this, it would not seem cool. In fact, it would seem kind of pathetic. On the other hand, Optimus Prime says that and makes it all heroic-sounding. whee
Starscream: I figured out why we’re here!
Megatron: How?!?
Starscream: There’s this video on Youtube that Soundwave and Reflector posted. Description reads, “After arguing for 5 hours over who would have to go on some random talk show, Optimus Prime and The Great Lord Megatron decide to settle their differences by an energon-drinking contest. If The Great Lord Megatron won, O.P. and Bumblebee would have to go. If The Great Megatron lost, then he and Starscream would go. Bumblebee took O.P.’s place in the contest against Megatron. Hilarity ensues.”
Megatron: …How’s he doing that?
Starscream: I know! He’s drinking you under the table! Who knew that the little guy could hold his energon so well?
Megatron: What’s the final score say? It must have been a close battle, right?
Starscream: Megatron- 28…and Bumblebee…94…
Megatron: … emo
Me: There, there, these things happen. Now for number 5!
5- Fan Fiction
Me: Let’s face it fans, there is just some bad fan fiction out there. So bad that there is no hope for some stuff ever being cool, right? WRONG! We found the worst piece of written slag we could find and will now have our Decepticon co-hosts redeem it by reading it out loud!
Megatron: Fine. Starscream, you read it.
Starscream: What?!? Why me!
Megatron: Consider it punishment for treason. Now read it so we can leave.
Starscream: Err, but I’ve heard-
Megatron: SHUT UP AND READ THE FRAGGING SCRIPT ALREADY!!! scream
Starscream: Yesh, alright. Ah-hem-
“megatr0n turn slowly 2 Starscrem and w1sperd u fail me 4 last time starscrem and then he began to touch starsrems face and then he-”
*ANNOUNCEMENT*
*DUE TO VARIOUS REASONS, WE WILL NOT SHOW THE REST OF THIS FAN FICTION.*
*NAMELY, BECAUSE WE DON’T WANT TO BE KICKED OUT OF THE GUILD*
*WE WILL SUMMARIZE BY SAYING THE REST OF THE STORY INVOLVES MEGATRON, STARSCREAM, AND SOME RANDOM BOT THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE AUTHOR DOING THINGS THAT EVEN THE MOST TWISTED HUMAN WOULDN’T CONSIDER.*

Abyss- I knit too, so when I was thinking of something to put in the first thing that came to mind was knitting races. The 'dropped-stitch' part is also based on personal experiences! mrgreen
Devil- Thanks for that! I was actually kind of worrried some Decepticon-fan would get insulted or that my sense of humor was so weird that no one would like the parody. The fact that it has made at least one person laugh has made my day! whee

that was good, nothing is wrong with it, but you maybe should have put some of the seeker pairs in it? (i love those pairs but i think someone should make fun of that, or the overabundance of seeker oc's?)
