The fire circus was based in a wooded area just outside of London and certainly lived up to its name. The tent was designed to look like a flame with numerous activities been performed around it such as fire eating and jumping over flaming barrels. It was certainly an opposite to life within the city which was ordered and controlled. To the travellers it seemed that they had arrived at the perfect time as people were gathering outside of the main tent waiting for the performance to begin.
