'...Hm, about here,' Amalthea thought as she glided up to the surface of the water. As soon a she surfaced she noticed that he was in a perfect distance, he was maybe two feet from her. Althe quickly formed a triangle with her hands and sent as much water as she possibly could at him, which wasn't a great big wave or anything, but she was fast, and he was within two feet of her. So the wave was relatively sizable.

Nelek was taken by surprise and gasped as he was splashed. The latter resulted in him inhaling water. Sputtering and coughing, he jumped up. "What the hell?!" He was now dripping wet, his hair stuck to his head like a helmet. "What is your problem?!" He yelled, fuming.

Oh...she hadn't meant for his to get that wet. Well...at least it was only water. "I was trying to lighten the mood?" she replied with a friendly smile. "By the way, I'm Amalthea," was she forgetting something? oh yeah, "Most people make up nicknames for me though."
He looked like he was about to explode. Or erupt. 'He kind looks like a volcano,' she thought, trying not to giggle or laugh or snot. Or something. 'Cause it really was funny, a wet volcano?

Nelek was still fuming, although he did look quiet silly. And he felt silly. He rubbed a hand through his hair, attempting to fluff it up again but instead it just made it stand straight up. It looked quite comical paired with his devilish horns.
And he did something he hadn't done in a while. He smiled a crooked, impish smile. "God, you're so annoying," he said scoffingly, but still smiling half way. It was true - he did find her very annoying, but he didn't expect a saint type to have such a mischievous personality - and that's what caught him off guard.

Alright. That was it. Smiles were contagious after all. She laughed. Not a musical twinkle, or shrill giggle, it was one of those laughs saved for something truly amusing. Although she probably shouldn't laugh, the only difference between them was his hair was standing up. Sireni or not, hair was weighed down by water. "Maybe," Amalthea ceded, "Who wants to be a goody two shoes though?"

Nelek rolled his eyes. "But you're suppose to be sickeningly good." He had a devilish grin on his face. Seriously, one of the gods most of broken their mold when they made Amalthea.
"Oh, by the way.." His grin widened and he bared his imp-like teeth. "I thought up a nick name for you - irritating."

"Yes, I know," she smirked right back at him, "I usually can't stand being next to another Saint--especially when they start preaching." She threw the last word out with all the hate you'd expect a her to show her mortal enemy. Really, all the 'morals' and 'ethics' that the other Saints liked to preach about? Yeah. She thought of them as most non-Saints did. So, she, like all other sane beings of the world, avoided other Saints for the most part. The waves of goodness were sickening. And she was a Saint herself!
"Aw, thank you," Amalthea replied with obvious sarcasm. "Oh, by the way, I dub thee Pandie."

Nelek wasn't sure what she meant by preaching. He had never actually met another saint type, but he was just basing her off stereotypical rumors.
Raising an eyebrow, he eyed the female suspiciously. He knew he would regret asking, but he couldn't stop himself. "Pandie? And what is that suppose to mean?"
((ooc: wow that is short lawl))

"Panda, it's a way to say panda," Amalthea smiled at his expression, oh she was going to enjoy this, "And the hair-clip I mentioned? The one that insulted people?" She paused a little at this point for slight dramatic effect, "It was in the shape of a panda head, a really cute panda head, so I called it 'Pandie'." 'And you like to insult people,' she added mentally. Though she wouldn't say it, her little explanation was way too long for her tastes, as is. And she'd have to add a bunch for the original Pandie.
(( Was making up meeting people and stuff <.< I think that's in the RP guidelines as 'do' so yeah x3;;; ))
