Ever feel like you're going crazy? I already knew I had mental problems, but then someone started talking to me, claiming to be a specific god that I didn't know much about, and told me stuff that I had no clue and later confirmed to be true...
But I'm still scared to talk about it, what if it's all in my head?

That it all first started? Over a year ago. And it was someone else who first talked to me, about 8 months ago this other god started talking to me and he comes and goes..

What's he like - what sort of things does he talk about? And how often does he speak to you? Though there are two by the sounds of things, yes? Most perplexing.

The first one was a goddess and usually isn't here. The other is the god. It's not too often at all. He answers my questions, for the most part. The first time he had a strange sense of humor and was introducing himself.. but since then it's mostly been just responding when I reach out.

Well by the sounds of things he doesn't mean you any harm but instead wishes to guide you. I dunno...that's about all I can make of this at the moment.

Never thought he meant any harm, lol.
I think I've figured it out. Still think I might be a little crazy.. but I've read something else that made me feel less crazy.. someone else having the same experiences. smile

L4mb, you found your way here!!!! YAY!
I haven't read runes for a while but I would suggest any book by Ralph Blum. There are deeper books out there, but you can work out of his for several years.
I just got a book I think called Faerie Runes, by Brian Froud. It was too cute, I had to have it.
If you are new to meditation I would suggest guided meditations. Lots of books have great meditations in them and if you can't get anybody to read one, you can either record yourself reading it or just read it over several times ad then just lay down and do it. Meditation takes practice, if you don't get it right away, don't worry. If you have an iPod, I have heard you can get some good meditations as podcasts as well.Meditation is an important part of the work we do. you don't have to be good at it, but it makes a lot of the visualizations easier.
What specifically did you want to know about healing?
WELCOME!!!!!!!!

Edred Thorrsson, Diana Paxson and Freja Aswynn are all great authors if you want to learn about runes. However, these books are kinda heavy (and don't just focus on runes but also various aspects of Heathenism), so I wouldn't recommend them as introductory books, but rather as further reading if you're interested. As Love said, podcasts are great for guided meditations, but there are also some cds out there. Healing is also a huge topic! What would you like to know? We're bother here to help!

L4mb im fairly new to wicca, but i was wondering if anyone knows about runes? and healing and good techniques for meditation. plz and thank u!! A good place I think to start with healing would be chakra work, for a variety of reasons. You can also start with auras too though. I just woke up so I'm not operating at maximum efficiency, and can't find the books I want to recommend for the life of me, but I can start you off with a little shameless self promotion on my part: my healing thread here. ^_^ And look at that! I found the book I wanted to recommend! The book in question is Chakras for Beginners by David Pond, it's an excellent starting point. It's the one I bought for my bf to start with, who knows nothing about anything like that. For more in depth study afterwards (or you wanna jump in feet first) there is Eastern Body Western Mind by Anodea Judith, a lot of my chakra stuff in my healing thread was pulled from that book. I can't recommend anything for runes, as I don't really work with them, but as far as meditations go I like the books Meditations from the Mat: Daily Reflections on the Path of Yoga by Rolf Gates and Katrina Kenison, and 365 Yoga: Daily Meditations by Julie Rappaport. ^_^
