{1/5 Hidden Mist Technique}
Taya sat under the setting sun, using what was left of the lighting to read over the next jutsu she wished to learn. This jutsu would mask her in a field of Mist, hiding her every move. She saw that the next technique was how to see through the mist, it'd be utterly pointless to not be able to see through your own technique.

Taya studied the hand seals, and went through them a few times over in her head. She didn't bother taking her eyes off, and performed them over for each time she messed up.

Taya continued to do the seals right up until she could do them at a fast pace, without messing up once. She rose to her feet, dusting herself off a bit as she did so. Taya once more performed the seals, and exerted her chakra.

Taya's chakra shot out of her body, gathering in the air. Nothing particularly amazing happened all too fast, except for the air gaining a certain mugginess. Taya felt slightly disoriented, as it felt like the air around her was swirling. Slowly but surely things began to fog up, a fine, thin layer of mist only at first.

The mist continued to grow, surrounding Taya in an ominous blanket. Soon enough, it was so thick, Taya couldn't even see 3 feet infront of her. The mist made her feel trapped, enclosed, and most of all, watched. The mist moved around, turning and swirling like smoke, throwing Taya's balance off.

Good thing Taya had taken the time to read the next jutsu ahead of time. She knew it would allow her to see through this god forsaken mist.

The chakra raced to her eyes, blinding her for a moment. As the chakra was still covering her eyes, and it seemed that a film was being placed over them. Slowly, she could make out figures, just distant shadows on the edge of her vision.

Taya's eyes had been engulfed with chakra for a full minute, before she could see more. Now, she had been able to make out full figures, like her tent and what not. Within the next few moments, Taya could see as if nothing was there to blind her in the first place.

{1/6 Steam Technique}
Taya's eyes fluttered open as the afternoon sun hit her face. Apparently, she had been sleeping for a long time. She stretched and yawned, digging through her bag for a fruit or something to stave off her hunger. After 'feasting', Taya dove into the little pond after stripping herself, washing away any grime. Afterword, she dressed again, and unraveled the Suiton scroll. Taya knew she was able to learn atleast two jounin techniques, so she decided she will. Upon reading the scroll, Taya learned the jutsu was actually a simple heating of water, to the point where a close attack could mean death.

Taya again formed the seals, this time exerting her chakra. She felt her mental power and her physical power colliding inside of her, and shooting up to her mouth. For a fleeting moment, Taya panicked, thinking that the water would scald her.

Of course, she was protected by her chakra, but could feel a warmth. She continued to pressure the water, heating it up more as she aimed herself out over the pond, not wanting to disintegrate anything.

Once the water could not heat anymore without evaporating, Taya pushed out her chakra, and opened her mouth. The water burst forth, steaming in the air as a hissing sound erupted throughout the area. When the hot water hit the cool pond, smoke issued forth, as well as amplifying the hissing noise. Taya quickly realized she would be able to peel off skin with this technique, and easily incapacitate someone.

Taya sighed, and packed her things up, snuffing out the flames of her camp fire. She rolled up her pack, and headed over to her tent. She took anything important, and left whatever would burden her. Taya angled herself towards the Hidden Leaf Village, and began to walk.
