"You presume much," said Issildia as she slowly began to circle her enemy. "No matter..." she mused. She then paused for a moment as her eyes hardened slightly, "Now let's end this."
At that moment as Issildia arched her blades high above her in an attack stance, the length of the knives then flared with blue fire that raced along their deadly edges.
Issildia then swept the blades into a low sweeping cut as she then leapt at her opponent, the fire running down the length of the knives flaring with sparks as she drew nearer to her target.

The figure dispappeared just before the attack hit, then reappeared behind Issildia. He then did a flying spin kick, but left his leg open during the kick.

As her enemy disappeared Issildia instantly drew a trio of kunai knives and launched them at her enemy at his sudden appearance and attack. As soon as the knives left her hand ,Issildia strafed around her enemy in a single stride to move in to a better position to attack, her knives burning with the dark blue flame as she suddenly dove in with a point thrust move. Then before the move completed itself Issildia directed the blades into an upward slice, as if to run her kinfe through her enemy's jaw and into his skull. That is if he managed to avoid her first attack with the kunai knives.

During the kick, the figure twisted. This enabled him to dodge both attacks. At this moment, Streak got up. He didn't know what he had to do, it all just came to him. He wasn't even aware he was doing it. He drew his blade and prepared himself. He was in a semi-concious(sp?) state. He lifted his arms in the air and there was a shadow over him. He was calling to the shadows.
The figure sent a straight-forward lunge towards Issildia. and hoped for a result.
((If you've read Streak's profile you can guess what happens next wink ))

As the attack came at Issildia, she twisted back in a feinting move to avoid the attack. But her reaction to his attack had been too late in coming and she only managed to partially block the attack. She managed to avoid the brunt of the attack but she was sent to the ground, her knives sent clattering away, the flames that ran the length of the blades flickering out.
Issildia quickly gained her footing and reached for the knife sheath at her lower thigh, only to find that she had exhausted her supply of knives throughout the happenings of the night. Even so she took up a fighting stance refusing to quit even though she was now unarmed...

The shadows around Streak began to move and take a shape.
"Now I've got you." The figure dove at Issildia with his blade. Suddenly the attack was blocked. The figure looked to see what it was and saw nothing. He then looked down and saw a shadow. It began to rise and took and almost human siluette(sp?). The figure attempted to attack it, but it swayed easily to dodge it. It then attacked the figure, and minorly cut it. The figure growled. He slashed at it with everything he had, but every attack missied. It was as if the attacks were going through it. Another shadow appeared, then another and soon the figure was overwelmed by them.
"This is not over." Growled the figure and disappeared. The shadows all disappeared aswell, and as soon as they did, Streak stopped. He then collapsed to the ground, drained of all his energy.

As the figure disappeared and the ballroom returned to normal Issildia relaxed slightly. The battle had not been won ,but the phantom would be dealt with, when she returned to her own realm.
As Streak collapsed Issildia cursed under her breath in a language not of the mortal realm and quickly strode over to Streak. "I didn't know were capable of manipulating shadows to such an extent...impressive." Issildia mused with a wry smirk. Before her expression changed to something more serious in nature .
"It's good to have you back..." she said as she helped him up.

"Manipulting shadows? What do you mean? I haven't done anything." Streak replied. He didn't remember the experience. He felt strange though, drained of energy, but that was passed away. "I guess we'd beter leave, before someone else tries to kill us." Streak grinned.

"I will explain the matter once we return to our realm" Issildia said as she use the tip of her index finger to draw what seemed to be a large circle in the air.
She then muttered an incantation under her breath and the air about the circle flared with blue sparks, then as the lines of the gateway were denined by the blue sparks, the space within the gateway seemed to blur slightly, until it appeared to take on the appearance of a mirror.
"Let's go, I am not fond of this realm anyway..." she said with a slight frown...as she paused.
"Though it wasn't a bad as I anticipated..." she smirked as she then stepped through the gateway, her form disappearing into it.
The gateway then continued to exist, obviously waiting for Streak.

"I must say I agrre, although I hope our next 'visit' will be more 'pleasant'." Streak laughed, then also walked into the portal, which lay open before him. But he was not the last to pass through. As it began to close a shadow swooped in. There was a familiar laughter in the room, which finally concluded when the portal closed.
