lilartichoke I've never heard of eating black eyed peas before! Happy new year eve! It's a tradition from the southeastern states. Eating black eyed peas on New Year's Day is supposed to bring you good luck and prosperity. 3nodding

To keep better track of my finances and to go through a lot of old papers that I had at my former apartment to see what I really need to keep at my new house. In order words, to get better organized. Also, my never-ending resolution is to be nicer to people this year than the year before.

But what do you do with them, make a burrito? xd Resolution: Finally pay off most of my student loans. gonk I've only got 13k more in principle to pay off out of the 40k I originally took out in loans.

Traditionally, you boil them in a pot with ham. Often times people will put ketchup on them to add a different flavor, but the "old-school" black eyed pea eaters frown on that practice. xd

Happy New Year!
On Gaia I resolve to not spend as much real money. I still plan on getting a letter every month but the RIGs are gonna have to suffer.
In real life I am trying to get organized and healthy. Mess and fat is not fun anymore.

D: Just goes to show some people really will put ketchup on anything xd @Sometimes: That's a good Gaia resolution. I'd make that resolution, but I don't think I could stick to it >.<;
