Aww Heck
Not a very good idea to have both Brave Bird and Life orb

As that means all your moves (save bulk up) do recoil, basically iget form this he's a "suicide leader"? or rather one who rushes in, fients but does some cricital first-turn damage.

if this were the case, i'd suggest giving him life orb
if that's not the "goal", then a brightpowder will help you

I've been thinking on either the life orb or the metronome for a while now. I've only gotten a chance to test the metronome out though.
And yes, he is intended as a revenge killer or suicide lead.

wow. That's kind of scary in a way but I did the same thing in my last battle against the Elite four. I felt bad though.

Well because of the D/P generation and it's new additions, pokemon hit much harder than ever thanks to certain items, stat boosts, that sort of thing.
Alot of pokemon have the potential to be sweepers of a certain type because of this and items like the Life Orb and the Choice items particularly make that possible.

Yeah I finally did that in battle tower a few minutes ago. I took out full teams using Brave Bird and Surf. (It was double battle). My first attempt didn't go well when I Earthquake and Fly but that's because Golem is so slow and weak against water-types. I think Battle Tower sets it up so you lose a few times if you don't pick the right combo. Seems like everything I add Golem I lose because I have to battle a bunch of water-base Pokemon or Fighting.

Oh yeah why is that Staraptor can learn Close Combat when it's not a fighting type? I got rid of it after a while cause it just seemed silly to have a bird pokemon punching. Plus, I kind of messed up in training it with good Def and Sp Def.... sweatdrop Sorry Staraptor...

Apparently Staraptor in question is a pokemon that has a fiery personality and will fight in close quarters with it's foe, much like a peacock if you've ever seen one fight. xD [[I have, it's pretty scary.]]

dont forget the "SPLIT"

in emerald a modest blaziken using blze kick was superb,

however, in D/P/PL Blaze Kick become physical-based running on ATTACK instead of emerald's ruling is as an SP.ATTACK

the result is quite staggering, while pokemon like blaziken benefit for their sig moves, others like Sceptile, suffer, as leafblade aslo become physical but sceptile runs a much higher SP.A

utilizing this, sweepers were made evermore deadly,

a speed-based special sweeper lucario would come with Aura sphere(special), dragon pulse(speical), dark pulse(special), and extremespeed(physical), sure ESpeed is physical but mostly used on "sponges" like blissey, who wall special moves but have nothing agaisnt physical

making this split evermore hrutful for blissey as Hitmonchan gaisn all three: thunder, ice, & fire punch to his physical attack,

in short "the split" was a effort to begin making some pokemon better, some worse

Very true.
I personally am glad they did so.
It leads for more diversity and makes it so that some former Juggernauts in the pkmn world have been nerfed, so to speak.

I remember back when Alakazam would destroy everything and Blissey would wall everything. xD
