It's hard not to sound elitist when you're crew thus responsible for enforcing the law of a exclusive boo-skin guild. neutral

eek Whoah, that really was a mistake! I didn't mean to change my avatar last night. stressed
I was just playing around with some of my new items, and without thinking, clicked the "save" button. By the time I realized what I'd done (about a millisecond later), it was too late.
Huh, that's funny, I don't feel that bad about it.
As background: I didn't change on Jan. 1st, like I'd said I would, b/c of a surprise family vacation. I forgot to pack my laptop charger, so I have been without internet for WEEKS. gonk
I guess I'll stay around and spy on conversations in The Order until someone kicks me out. wink
Thanks for all the support and suggestions; I wish there was a happy ending for everyone.
And I am still upset with Gaia about how they treated us.

Since I have no reason for being quiet anymore. xp

Awww...
I'm one of those people who thinks in order to be in the guild you should be in the skin and when you take it off you leave... I'll leave if mine's deleted...
If anyone could join it'd be frustrating because I come here for people who face the same problems I do (not being able to change their main, pretty new items, ect), but if anyone joined it wouldn't be the same kind of community.
I really don't mean to be elitist and I feel like the inactive people who change their avi and complain about being kicked are. Why should it matter if you didn't participate? If you want to join a BOO supporting guild go do it!
I guess if you were in the guild, made a mistake, and just wore the potatoseer on your original avatar and didn't change I wouldn't mind... but it's frustrating to see other people changing their avi when you can't. =/
I DO think kicking people out for inactivity is stupid tho...

Haruka119 You can quit if you want to. You joined the guild at your own free will and you can quit just the same. There is no set rule that says that once you join, you can't quit. That would be plain silly. Plus, if you quit the guild first then change your avi, i think you save the admins from going through the bother. It's probably a minor thing, but it is one less thing that they have to do. It would be nice if you stayed, but like i said, you can quit if you want to. they've actually made quiting a whole lot easier too. it used to be that you had to pm one of the crew members and request that you get banned from the guild. yeah, totally not a fun way to go about it.

Bob Lord of Muffins All this ranting about how mean this guild is has saddened me. To down this guild is to down the members who support it and I have never heard harsh word leave any of their lips. By staying true to this guild they have already given up so much. Do not punish them in such a way. If you must leave this guild then I bid you a sorrow goodbye. But please do so with bliss and grace that I know you are capable of. So farewell and may you find a guild with what you are looking for. cry i know what you mean! i was slightly blind sided by it. but i guess it's understandable. there was a number of people who did state that they kept the skin for the elite status. and when the conversations got a tad angry, or too clam gun-ho, i stopped going to those topics. but i guess that's the nature of the guild, or part of its nature anyway... but i also understand rain not wanting a skimpy outfit. mine is the skimpiest thing i've equipped in over a year (that is before i went on a no-change-avi-ever kick when i joined the guild). most of my avatars had long dresses, and/or the majority of the chest covered. so it took a while for me to get used to this level of skin exposure. i guess it's ironic since i picked the outfit. but i wanted to show off the skin. ah, the dilemmas of creating avatars.
