This is a character I designed years ago, Kazushi... I was gonna use him in a manga, but I ended up scrapping that... I planned new uses for him and blah blah blah, his background doesn't really matter.

He recently lost a battle and was captured while unconcious. He now finds himself in an empty white room and starts thinking over the situation. Anyhow, comments and criticism would be appreciated.

His head and neck don't go together properly.

1) If you're going to show that much neck then his head should almost be in a profile view to the character's right.

2) If you want his head to be facing the audience, you need to move his head more to his left. Not alot of neck is shown when a charater is facing the audience unless they're trying to look down at you from their nose.

Ah, necks... You make good points.
I used to draw everything sorta just "as I saw fit", but I've recently been trying to hone my abilities by learning useful tips or by learning certain things properly. Among the tutorials I've seen, I don't think I've really seen any properly explain neck placement or its relation to the head... That's one thing I've been wanting to learn for some time now.
This one kinda explains some stuff, but that neck seems kinda weird to me: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=9194187

Do you know of any other tutorials/tips regarding the neck?

ugh, there's not many tutorials out there, but I learned using a mirror.
I also have a camera with my computer so I can do a pose and take a picture (I actually tried the pose your character was doing and that's how I found the problem).
Another thing is that the longer the neck, the more sloped the shoulders are.
I'm sorry I couldn't help you more sweatdrop

That's a good tip (sloped shoulders when neck stretched), and thanks for the help. I guess I'll also try recording myself spinning around with my webcam to see whereabouts the neck starts and ends on the different angles.

Here's a revised version (his skin was supposed to be darker than the previous picture, too):
