As Hiroko finished the race and climbed onto the wet stone at the mouth of the river the chilling cold set in. He looked to his right and hopped into one of the canoes and began his journey back down. When he saw the kid he said, "I expect you to finish. When you get done go to the library and study hand signs. I'll see you tomorrow, and I expect you won't be late this time." He grabbed his brother and the twins instantly merged, they had been separated to long and that was the only benefit of it, quick merging.
Then when Hiroko reached the end of the river he returned to the academy, it was time to mold some young minds.

Mazu had for what seemed like days, followed the mountain which was littered with caves. He could never shake the feeling that he was being watched as he climbed over rocks and things. The path he had been following long broke off into the wilderness. It will be a new challenge to try and survive in the mountains or at least he though so. He chose a cave to take a rest in. It was relatively unremarkable, and not very large... but it had an opening in the back which descended into darkness. He sat on a rock near the entrance and ate some of the rabbit he had caught earlier. It was tough and not quite cooked well enough... but he'd live as he always had.

A native to Kumogakure, who traveled daily, spotted a child in a cave that was chewing on something. He walked on over and looked the boy up and down.
"Hey kid, are you okay?" He wasn't actually too concerned, but he knew that the ANBU might imprison him with all those weapons on him.

"Eh?" Mazu replied, startled by the new person. This was the first person he'd seen in four years and the first person he'd seen besides his parents. He didn't really know what to say. "Uhm... I'm alright... I was just sort of looking for some other people. I didn't really expect to find anyone on this mountain..." he shivered a bit from the cool air within the cave, "Do you live around here?"

"Yes, I live close by. Come with me, get you out of this cold." He then carried on walking on through the cave system, letting the boy follow him to his home. It was still early in the afternoon, heaps of time to get him to Kumogakure and even maybe introduce him to the Raikage.

Mazu followed the man doing as best he could to be quiet. The whole time he followed the man through the caves he said nothing. He tried to remember the path they took through the cave...
Down, Right... Left... Left.... no, wasn't it... down, right, left, right?
It did him no good to try so after a short while he stopped and just focused on not tripping over himself or a rock. He could hear the eerie drips of water echo within the darkness, breaking the otherwise intense silence. The shuffling of their feet bounced off the walls around him. He silently hoped that they would hurry and get through the cave.

The man never moved too quickly in the caves, far too dangerous to do so. So the kid could keep up easily. But it wasn't long now, the smell of fresh air and a slight breeze was around now, that means the end of the cave was close. He knew the exact way, it would be only a few minutes until they turned a corner to light.
"Nearly there." Due to being used to only hearing his own foot steps, the kid was a loud sound he could easily hear behind him. The light was now starting to show, the cave floor and walls more visible. As they walked into the light, a great bridge was in front of them.

Naharu sighed silently.He leaned back and pressed is back against the cold cavern wall. He lock around at the endless maze of cavern ways and holes.I'm really starting to doubt I'll make it to Kumogakure..It took me two days just to make my way up this rigid mountain.. That took most of strength away. and now im down to drinking cave water after wandering through these endless freezing maze of water and rock. And all this just to ask the Raikage for person to join the village. Naharu pointlessly reflected over his struggles up until now. His eyes suddenly shot open as he silently crouched. He had heard a voice..wait no.. Two voices. He had heard rumors of ANBU members always wandering in the caves...
Fear slowly climbed up his body slowly paralyzing him.. Would they punish him if he was found right now.. Or worse kill him.. He placed his hand over his eye and try to calm himself and think. Well who ever they are maybe I can get out of this cave if I follow them.. I just dont need to be seen right now. his thoughts lingering as he attempted to follow the voices and moved silently.But he wasn't in luck, they had stopped conversing and only to echo steps remained. Making it worse the slick cave grounds made it difficult to move with stealth.Instead he desire to follow them by mimic the second set. Of foot step.. Hopefully they wouldn't notice him.. He emptied his mind and focused on following and remembering the path.
After a while of following he panicked and slipped hearing the the voice from before confirming they were almost out. After he slipped Naharu slid into deep water tunnel, icy water splashing his back as he decended quickly..And thrust out his arms and legs using his remaining strength to stop himself. His palms now burning like fire from the series of minor cuts from the adverse wall. He quickly climes up and out of the water way and made his way towards the only lighting in the cave. As the light shifted he took some time to examine his wounds.They were pretty deep so he tore off some cloth from his pants and tied it around each hand. He followed the light until it opened up into an amazing cavern with a bridge and and Kumogakure at the center of the cavern.. He finally made it to the village of the cloud. Naharu sighed with relief and slowly walked across the bridge towards his future as a shinobi.
