I cant decide between buying Order of Ecclesia or Portrait of Ruin. I've read/watched reviews for both and i dont really like the feel of Portrait and it seems like a ton of just nubby fan boys fapping to it. Order of Ecclesia looks way more badass but i havent heard many good reviews for it.

Being it one of the only (read: ONLY) Castlevania games I got to play, I'd say Portrait of Ruin.
No need to let the idiocy of a fanbase shy you away from playing a good game.
There's not a lot I can say without spoiling it, but the Unison Attacks are pretty good.

I like portrait of ruin a lot better, but Ecclesia is more like classic castlevania.

x.x I do like the classics BUT Dawn of Sorrow is one of my FAVORITE games....dont ask me why cause i wouldnt be able to tell you. Its just so addictive for me ._. So torn!!!!! If only i could just buy both x.x Damn you budgets, DAMN YOOOOU!!!!

I'd say OoE because I think it is more fun than PoR and you're right, much more badass. Though it's more difficult than the others I've played too.
(But seriously Dawn of Sorrow is one of my favorite DS games ever, do you have it already?)

biggrin I've beaten it multiple times and im workin on getting all mah souls. biggrin running an uber-mage soul set with 9 Treant souls (x.x took like 2 hours to get 9 of them suckers) and my uber l33t Ice Brand >8D
