EDIT: FFFFFF I just saw that you had a whole subforum dedicated to my question. OTL Sorry. Just ignore my topic.

...Yeah...>_>

I'm Korean. South Korean, to be precise. I was adopted into the United States as a baby, and the only other Korean in my family is my brother, who was also adopted (but we're not blood related).

Growing up, I learned a little bit about my culture from Korean adoption get togethers, but I've forgotten a lot by now.

Does anyone know any good sites, or can tell me something? (And please don't tell me to "google" it, because that can take you to many different sites that might be boring and hard to follow.)

The reason I ask is because, even though I am Korean, I was never very interested in Korea. I was interested in Japan. I learned a lot about it from anime and other people, and I want to go visit it and learn their language. I think it's time for me to learn about Korea though, and I don't know where to start.

Korean is probably an easier language to learn than Japanese anyways, but I don't know much about Korea, so I'm not very motivated...^^;

Here's a few things I know...
AGE
Um, well my Korean friends told me that you're about 2 years older in Korea. They said that when you're born in Korea you're 1 year old already and when it's New Year you turn one year older. So if you're like say 13 here, you're 14 or 15 in Korea.
BIRTHDAY
I think that it's a tradition to slurp seaweed soup on your Birthday.
SCHOOL
My friends said that you wear uniforms to school in Middle School and High School. You come to school and study and don't usually get lots of H.W but there are major tests that you need to pass. If this is not true then blame my friends xD
CLOTHING
When there's a special event like weddings, birthday, ect..Women wear Hanbok Dress. Like these:

I suggest you Click here to find out more because it's way better than what I typed up there. xP

That's pretty much the concept in all East Asian countries (with the exception of Japan, I believe). In Chinese and Vietnamese culture, you're also 1 years old when you're born and you turn a year older when it's the Lunar New Year.
