"Ok," he replied as he took deep breaths to make sure that he stayed calm as he gathered the magic that he would need and then sent a bolt of lighting but not as strong as the last one towards the wall and it was comming back at him like that of to repleing magnets and use just a little of the magic as he sorta in a catching position. Just as the lighting hit to were the other held lighting was in his hands it bounced of of it and struck the wall and not shocking him or Cat.

"That was cool, if a little scary too," he said as he sorta thought that it might not work or if he used too little or too much to repel the other lighting comming towards him.

Cat was quaking in his boots as he watched Ciaran summon his lightening, although his pride wouldn't allow him to cower beneath his desk as he wished to. He stood a little too firmly as he watched his student attempt the skill, a huge smile appearing on his face when he did it successfully. His big gray wings flapped as he clapped enthusiastically. "Awesome, that was good Ciaran! And yeah, I bet it was scary," he added with a sheepish grin. It was scary for him, and he was just watching.

"So, just out of curiosity, did you mean to send the lightening that way or was it just random? I ask because the part to master next is aiming your redirected lightening," he said with a nod. His hands gestured as he continued. "That way, like, if someone tries to send lightening at you, you can just be like BAM! and hit them back. Make sense?"

The Envy spawn had to smile as he was scared for the both of them as he didn't want to hurt Cat, tho he didn't care too much if he hurt himself tho. "Thanks, it was," he agreed with a smile.

"Not really I just sorta random, I have hardly been able to aim any of my lighting unless really stressed out does it seam to obay," he said as he thought on the times when he was stressed that it was easier to use. "That would be cool and it does make lots of sence. So how could I do that, Cat?"

Cat nodded slowly as he processed Ciaran's answer, calling upon his memory of the book he just read to answer the spawn's question. It was a little hard given his nerves, but he somehow managed.

"Well, from what I know at least, the only way to really hone your aim is with extreme focus, unfortunately. You have to be able to use almost all of your concentration on the point you want it to hit." He rubbed the back of his head as he chuckled nervously. "Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to get you to that point in only today, but we can still fit in a bit of practice, if you're interested." He smiled gently at Ciaran. "You'll need to get comfortable enough with firing lightening that it's practically muscle memory. Hence why I don't expect you, or anyone, to get it completely down today."
