CaptainBaconMan I knew it was going to be something that reduced jump damage. It replaces a projectile though, so I deem it useless, I'd use it if it replaced the melee. But the shotgun is too important, and I guess it'd replace the grenade launcher for the demo, which I also think is too important.

Seemingly the Gunboats are actually more suited for Demomen rather than soldiers, as Demomen need better protection from self-inflicted explosives damage as they have lower health than Soldiers and only have explosives for their primary and secondary weapons.
