Just describe each section in your marching band, band director, then the marching band overall. Like this (my marching band btw):
Drum Majors:Some of the best drum majors ever. They're very serious bout what they do though once in awhile they'll get lazy (but not during competitions)
Flutes/Piccolos:Not one of the most interesting sections in our band. Just very quiet and blah. I have some friends in there that are just plain awesome, but the rest...whatever.
Color Guard:Not to be rude but, they suck. Very girly and just not part of the band really. They're in their own group sort of.
Clarinets razz retty big section. Lots of girls and only one guy. The girls tend to talk a lot bout girly stuff so yeah. The guy is one of my best friends. They sometimes have problem with beauty when playing the instrument.
Bass Clarinets:Some of the sweetest people ever. We lost one not too long ago. So yeah. We've been struggling a bit but we've definitely gotten closer as a band and kept our heads high (:
Trumpets:Lot of times oblivious and sometimes get their GPA's for their IQ's. Play WAY too loud when they don't have the melody and think they're gods. Pfft. Yeah right. Some of them are nice and are my friends but yeah.
Trombones:The most perverted section ever. They're two seniors and one junior that are just.....wow. But it's never severly nasty. They get yelled at a lot by our band director for not playing or not being in the right spot for drill.
Mellophones:Very good at what they play but aside they're not very great. Very crabby and want to be total perfectionist. Some are my friends though. One of them is not like everyone else and he's awesome.
Tubas:They're okay. One of the girls is really bitchy and one is one of my best friends.
Euphoniums biggrin on't know them much.
Drumline (Battery AND Pit):Think they're all that (and they're really good). Sometimes have issues with tempo but they definitely blow my mind away cause we're a B class band and they're playing A class and doing it really really well.
Baritone Saxophones:Two weirdos but very nice. Nothing special but I love them.
Tenor Saxophones:Two of my best friends. But they show off way too much and think they're really super.
Alto Saxophones (my section):I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! We definitely love music. And we're not all the same which is great. We're probally the most different section in the band with no two people being alike. I hate three people in my section (uhh...we all do) and the rest are amazing. I'm definitely going to sad next year cause we're loosing our senior and he's like awesome at the sax. He's like five people. We're all very good at the saxophone (except for the three people which btw them and me have second part and I'm the only one playing it right so it pisses me off) and definitely march well in a tight spot. Love you guys lots.
Band Director biggrin efinitely not a typical band director. He loves everyone (not like that) and loves to just hang out and have fun with all of us weirdos. He has a fettish for Beyonce (don't ask) and he's just awesome.
The Marching Band: A typical perverted band with some flavor and edge. We step up to the challenge in whatever situation, whether it's marching on grass (screams) or doing an A class show (and we got 3/5 1st place). I love the band lots and it made me belong somewhere. I love love them so much. I'm definitely doing this for the next 3 years.

Drum Majors: Sexy, our head DM is an a** though
Our field commander is pwnage, shes only sa sophmore too xD
Flutes/Piccolos My best friend is one but the rest are bitches..lol.
Color Guard surprised ne of our best secctions, always in time, always practicing before and after practices these girls work hard, and deserve every superior we get for them.
Clarinets:This is my section : I LOVE THESE GUYS. theyre like, my friggin second family 38 members. 32 of them , girls, me, and 6 other guys
Some freshman *cough Kara ebisuya cough* cant hold up their clarinet well xD usually quiet, always first to memorize our music
Bass Clarinets: none in marching band, but this is my section for concert band, and i would like to say I LOVE YOU COFIRST CHAIR -Glomps-
Theres only two of us xDD
Trumpets They are cool. I play trumpet for jazz xD
they can be asses if you know wat i mean
Trombones:ehh theyre okay but they need to learn how to BALANCE D:
Tubas: 2 girls one guy *sick thoughts* xD jkz
Drumline (Battery AND Pit): Theyre okay, their section ldr this year was an arse (battery) pit has my BFFz in it xD
Baritone Saxophones: none in marching. but in concert, this dude is like my band buddy if you kniow what i mean, like we go to the middle school and help together, moved stuff since llike 7th grade. good times. hes quiet tends to stay out of trouble. no offense, but his gpa is ackkk and i end up tutoring xDD
Tenor Saxophones: MY BFFS! <3 ILY
yeah they know when to be quiet except for one person cough cough
Alto Saxophones : KIMMMY <3 my good friends, I love them
Band Director: LIke a second set of parents. WE LOVE YOU MR KAMEI AND MOMO <3
The Marching Band: I love you guys, i dont know where id be today without you <3

Field commander- she can be a b***h sometimes... but she's an amazing conductor, and can be the funniest, sweetest person ever
Flutes- they're just kinda there. they don't really play that much, so we don't notice them.
Clarinets- they're all pretty much awesome, both as a person and at clarinet.
Bass clarinet- she's just... horrible.
trumpets- they're all pretty good at trumpet. and amazing people. even destiny. sometimes.
mellophones- the embodiment of perfection. all 5 of them are awesome.
altos- they're pretty cool, and funny. except zach. that b***h.
tenor saxes- these girls are the funniest and nicest people ever.
guard- meh. toni's pretty amazing at guard/life though.
front ensemble- excellent musicians, it's because of them we did so well this year.
drumline- these guys are great. the best drumline we've had in years. they swear SO MUCH. they're awesome.
low brass- my family. i don't know what i would do without them. we b***h at each other, yeah... but we love each other. we're probably the closest section. this has been a building year... we had people who had never even read a note or held a baritone in their lives, and we did it. we've grown this year... as a section, as a band, as a family.

DMs: One is a real butt, one is his sidekick, and the only female is one of the most amazing people in the band.
Flutes/picolos: The SL is bossy and rude, and seeing as she is a sophmore, most everyone hates her. One is our german exchange student, who is a great player, and everyone else is awesome. Unfortunately lous and often out of tune.
Clarinets(my section): Everyone is pretty awesome, though one of the two boys and two of the girls hate eachother. Only 7 of us, but we play as loud as we can, though this means a tendancy for squeaks and overplaying. One of the biggest liars in the band is our sl. My family, which I tend to love more then my own family. The two males are pretty quiet on the instruments, but some of the loudest in the section whil speaking.
Bass clarinet: Funny and perverted. One of the largest, heaviest set guys in the band, and has been going out with the smallest for almost a year. Likes clarine, but because of his side it was pretty awkward, so he satisfies his clari-love with the bass, and loves it.
Trumpets: 2 are good. The rest are terrible. The closest to the top two, who are unfortunately both seniors, fits the steryotype. Lousd and thinks he is awesome(both at life and his instrument) but he is not. Some pretty cool people are mixed in here though.
Mellophones: They are okay. Not too good at their instruments, because most of them have switch instruments and all three of them are brand new to mello/horn
altos: Home to the worst DM in the world and his sidekick, bad dm 2. The two girls here are cool, but the guys just annoy me.
Tenor Saxes: Quiet but not shy. Some of the more popular people in band, yet hearing them talk is rare. But when the guy talks, plug your ears. That sl can command an army stretching across the continent with the loudness of his voice.
Guard: We are told they are part of the band, and are always yelled at by the bd for 'not treating them like band members', yet they are the ones commenting that they are not band members but are a group all their own who just march with us. Pretty snobby as well. And then they don't listen to the dms, only themselves.
trombones: Pretty good people, though quiet and hard to tell apart, yet they aren't related. their playing is decent as well.
Tubas: Obnoxious, always talking and laughing. 5 guys and a female, but the female is pretty mean(and owes me a dollar from last year>.>) Decent players, at least most of them are.
Euphoniums/baritones: Home to the best dm in the world, and pretty aesome players and people. All 3 of them are pretty aesome, and our soloist from this ear rocked.
Pit: Kind of stuck up except for one girl, who is my friend. One is a lazy fat girl(no offense fat people. I'm fat *cough cough* squishy*cough cough* too) who quit clarinet because she couldn't march for her life and basically failed at marching band
Battery: Two people are good people, one is okay, and everyone els is a stuck up snob or I don't know very well.
Bari Saxes: Perverts. Pretty cool. I like them. By the way, bass clarinet is also a bari sax, bringing our total to 2.
BD: Entertaining, not very strict, and awesome. He can yell, but we know he does it for our own good. he fails at woodwinds and favors the brass though.
Marching Band: My family. I love them lots, whether they realize it or not. Pretty much, my home life s terrible, but a marching band, I feel like I belong and am loved. I know they will back me up, and I know that they care about me. Pretty epic playing as well. division 3 band that sounds like at least a division 2. We play loud, but we play well, and we can get pretty soft if we need to. Our woodwinds are strong, and our brass is crunchy(hehe, bd's newest phraseXD crunchy is really good) We are the best band at our school in 20 years. We are #8 in our whoel state.

Drum Majors:Funny ppl who know when its the right time to do anything.
Flutes/Piccolos: OUT OF TUNE > neutral
Color Guard:very nice poeple biggrin

flutes: tomboy, daredevil, perverted, hyper but not as hyper as the drummers, saxophones or trumpeteers
clarinets: also perverted, funny, cliqueish except for the 2 tomboys and the one who's a major flirt
saxophones: 2nd most hyper in the band, always singing and making up random songs, very random
brass soon to come, i ran out of time cuz the bell just rang

In my Marching band (I am in guard) there are....
woodwinds:
28 flutes there very nice and like to decorate, and they always try to be a close family there are 3 guys in the flutes section I think (they are all straight no stereotyping)
41-43 clarinets and they are the worse marchers of the band yet the most easy to talk to, they are very layed back but they always end up getting the job done, but there are very separated
13 saxes they are one word "pervs" they are the most sexual in the band
Brass
30-35 trombones: they are kinda just there and don't really care much about being a family
20 trumpets make many drama queens
12 sousas and they are the weird, funny people in the band they always make us smile
16 mellophones: they are just very close, more family than there own
Percussion:
Battery: idk them that well
pit: they all are very different and are close to there directors
Guard
Main Sabers: very very big drama queen but they have some the biggest hearts around to each other they are all girls with 15 in the main sabres
Main Rifles: are the mouse traps for a lot of girls (they are guys I am one of them) 15 rifles
Main flags: They have the weirdest tradition but they are all cool
