"We has to!" Kaito's fingers clutched his twin's and he slid down the corridor and around a corner. He didn't want to be gobbled up by aunty! Tears filled his eyes as he looked around. All they had wanted was Icy!
"We trapped!" His voice shook as he held onto Deirdre. But his eyes flickered to the corner. "Deirdre...we tricks her again." He tugged his twin back into him and shivered even as the shadows poured around them.

Deirdre noticed that the corrider was ending and with a sharp tug, she pulled her brother to the tower steps. "C'mon!" She whispered shrilly. If Autie caught them, they'd be done for.
A howl made her shiver. "She's gettin' ca'woser. We gots ta boogey!" She looked into her brother's eyes and nodded. "We do it from 'ere. Stairs all dark." Her claws lengthened.

"Tay!" Kaito peeked over his shoulder at the corridor behind them. Aunty wasn't in sight yet, but he could just feel her coming closer. The infant shivered again at the howling before looking back over to Deirdre.
Kaito nodded solemnly as he back up towards the stairs. "I folloh ya, sista." He whispered softly as his tail twitched in anticipation. They could do this...maybe.

Adrian stuck his head out of his study and looked down the corridor just in time to see a tail disappear. When he looked the other way he saw his 'sister' patiently trotting down the hall. "Are you scaring my children?"
Lisle paused." Uh...no?" Adrian frowned. "You told me to play with them more, right? So I am. Just don't tell Lyoko and we're square."
Adrian shook his head and shut the door.
Deirdre took a deep breath to calm herself. She led him up a third of the way, being extra careful on the worn steps before pausing. "We wait 'ere. Aunty have no pwace to hide." The infant nodded bravely.

Kaito's hands grasped at the stone steps as he pulled himself up after his twin. He frowned when small chunks fell through his fingers as he touched a crack. The poor steps was fallin' parts!
Luckily he looked up in time to stop before tumbling into Deirdre. "Awight." He grinned, "We canz gets her good." His fangs bit into his bottom lip - torn between eagerness and terror.
Lyoko was perched on top of one of the towers. A slight breeze was lifting her hair spiraling it against the night sky as she relaxed. It was a rather peaceful night - she believed.
"Actually-" Lyoko blinked at looked down at her home. It was rather quiet - maybe too quiet?

Deirdre felt at the stone on her back. She heard someone ascending the steps. Slowly, she started click-clicking again. Her tongue swirled up around her fang as she shook.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are~" Lisle called. What started off with her wanting to rip their bratty little heads off was actually turning out to be fun. Who knew neices and nephews could have benefits?

Kaito heard Deirdre's click-clickings and decided to try what had worked before. His hands shook but several shadows jumped out forming a mini army of spiders that crawled quickly towards their aunt.
He blinked in astonishment at Deirdre."Come ou?" He whispered quietly with confusion. Why would she want them to come out- oh! Did she think that they would come out quickly so she could gobble them?
Kaito shook his head furiously before sending the shadow spiders out with vengeance.
Lyoko jumped down from her hideaway and was soon at Adrian's study. She didn't want to interrupt him but- "Adrian?" She knocked lightly at his door before opening it, "Have you seen our children?"

Deirdre shrugged and looked over his shoulder, shifting her claws to the floor below. It looked like someone playing with swords on the stone.
She saw their aunt's hand come around the corner, and her her inhale sharply.
Adrian looked up from his work table. There were three labtops set up, each with a web link to a different coven master and everyone looked just as frazzled. "Lyoko? Excuse me, gentlemen." He turned off the screens and hopped off his stool. "I think Lisle was chasing them. They went up the northern tower."

Kaito grinned like an imp as he heard his aunt's sharp inhale. Sounded like a sign to really put some oomph into things. His tail started thumping against the cold stone making the sound of heavy footsteps as the shadows started to merge.
Something scarey ta make Aunty run. Kaito thought grinning over at Deirdre. It was coming~
"Oh!" Lyoko flushed lightly and was about to apologize for the interruption until she remembered the children. With sweet steps the hybrid walked up to her beloved husband and grabbed lovingly onto his arm. The endearment for her husband just doubled with that wonderful news-
Yeah, right.
"Did...did you just say Lisle was chasing them?" Worry flashed in her eyes as she shook him, "Lisle?! Up the NORTHERN TOWER?!"
"ARE YOU INSANE?!" A hiss of disbelief rang throughout the room. "THAT TOWER IS IN DIRE NEEDS OF REPAIR AND YOU LET OUR CHILDREN GET CHASED UP STEPS WHEN THEY COULD BE KILLED?! KILLED!" Mind you not that she was scared of Lisle-the main worry was that the tower could collapse at any moment...with her children!
"Gah!" Lyoko shook her head and let go of Adrian. "I'm going now." She glared pointedly at him before smiling lightly. "But thank you, sire. Much gratitude for the now bed less man who lets his children go rampaging to their deaths."
She waltzed to the door and was about gone before peeking back inside. "Oh! Sorry for interrupting your conversation by the way, love." With that she was off.

Deirdre nodded up at her brother, practically bouncing with her excitement. She popped her claws out into the air, bouncing them off the shadows like little pops of fire while keeping up the rhythm with her toes.
She knew that Aunty was gettin' scared because she hadn't moved and there was a trembling going on in her shadow.

The Vampiric King smiled softly as his wife sauntered over to him. He leaned back against the desk, propping one freakishly long leg against the desk.
Then all hell broke loose.
"O-oui!" Adrian rarely spoke French anymore and only when he was terrified. Only his wife put that into his tongue. "Lyoko, pardonnez-moi! Je n'avait aucune idee."
When she left he hung his head in shame and would have stayed as such had it not been for the snickering. Could it be-?
Flipping the switch, he saw that not only had his Lords been kept on the line but privy to their spat. His face said it all. Once they caught look at it, all the men burst into laughter.
"Your wife, she is a true demon, is she not?" One teased, graciously covering his mouth as he guffawed. "You sounded like a whipped dog! Honestly, mon ami, who whines like that to their woman?"
Another round of laughter joined him.
"The kind that doesn't want to sleep in the guest coffin," He murmured. Adrian bent over and grabbed his paperwork before turning everything off for good. If he knew Lyoko, which he did, then she would tear Lisle's hide right off his transvestite body. He understood her worry, but really, it couldn't be that bad, could it?
