Appearance: Professor Larch

Personality: Polite, chivalrous, and caring... on the surface.

History: Lucian grew up in Eterna City with his mother. His father was always away from home, being a Pokemon Ranger. At the age of 13, Lucian began his journey through the Sinnoh League. As soon as he conquered that, he turned to more scientific pursuits. He studied under Professors Oak and Birch, and met his future wife, Oleander, working as an assistant for Professor Rowan.

At 21, he and Oleander were married. Sometime after that, he aided SilphCo in the standardization of the Pokeball, and aided Bill in the development of the Pokemon Storage System. Shortly afterwards, he again helped SilphCo in the development of Porygon, and the Hoenn Weather Institute with Castform. He was in his prime. Then, tragedy struck.

His wife (along with a few other bystanders) was caught in a battle between the newly-formed Team Galactic and some remnants of Team Rocket in the middle of the Veilstone Department Store. She was dead before the authorities arrived. He arranged a funeral, attended it, and disappeared.

Seven years have passed, and he is starting to fade into history.

1. Honchkrow
Nickname: Poe
Gender: Male

History: As a Murkrow, he followed Larch from Oleander's funeral. Evolved sometime during the construction of the castle by exposure to Dusk Stone.

2. Smeargle
Nickname: Escher
Gender: Male

History: Caught on the outskirts of Hearthome City near the middle of Larch's Sinnoh League campaign.
Other: Extremely absent-minded, unless motivated. Loves to suck on its tail. Larch thinks it may have brain damage from ingesting too much of its own paint.

3. Kadabra
Nickname: Djambi
Gender: Male

History: Caught as an Abra outside Veilstone City near the beginning of Larch's Sinnoh League campaign. Picked up its fork at the Cafe Cabin on route 210 shortly thereafter. Evolved during Larch's last Sinnoh Elite Four Battle.
Other: Lost its eyesight, along with its senses of taste, smell and hearing during the testing of the Pokemon Storage System.

Character Name: Fulgrim Egeria

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance:Fulgrim

Personality: Fulgrim is highly competitive by nature and sees everything in life as a competition. He admires and respects those in positions of power and influence, and those who have mastered any field to an art form. He tends to be rather cocky and occasionally overconfident, but it's been an attitude that's served him well over the years. Fulgrim is somewhat hedonistic and loves to sample and indulge himself in life's pleasures, he takes particular pleasure in the intensity and rush of competitive battling, which has led him to a slightly obsessive quality when it comes to training. Fulgrim also loves the beauty of battling, he believes that displays of power can be beautiful and takes great pride in having his pokemon elegantly display their natural prowesses in battle. Fulgrim sometimes kets his talents go to his head, he's heard enough people call him talented, good looking, witty, etc. that he accepts it as truth rather than hollow compliments


History: Fulgrim came from a very well to do family in Goldenrod city, and although he was offered everything he could ever want his parents tried to initially keep him away from pokemon battling. They didn't want to lose him to his obsessive and competitive nature and instead guided him more towards athletics, Fulgrim excelled at sports gaining particular love for fencing which has majorly impacted his philosophy as a pokemon trainer. As Fulgrim grew older he inevitably was exposed to the world of battling primarily through casual battles at school. When he was twelve he asked his parents why they never wanted him to become a trainer. They explained their reasoning to him, but told him that if it was something he was truly interested in they would support him. Fulgrim was surprised, but glad at his parents support and began to train his Gastly, a pokemon he had since early childhood. He continued casual battling and focused on his fencing until High School when he began to focus more on his battling much to the chagrin of his coaches. In his third year of high school he decided to begin the pokemon challenge and compete nationally in the pokemon league. By this time he had already made leaps and bounds by training locally at his Gym which was shortly afterwards his first pokemon league victory. After completing all 8 Gyms in the Johto region and finishing High School he competed in the Johto league championships, making the top four competitors first year, and winning the league title the second.

1. Gengar
Nickname: Konrad
Gender: Male

History: Konrad is Fulgrim's oldest competitive battler, His father asked him what it is he wanted for his 13th birthday, and Fulgrim told him he wanted a Gastly for battling, after much debate his father agreed and commissioned the region's top breeder to make it happen. One year later, on his 14th birthday he received the pokemon and shortly after defeated his hometown's gym leader. His Gastly evolved into a Haunter about half way through the Johto league and again into Gengar during his first attempt at the league championships.

2. Forretress
Nickname: Perturabo
Gender: Female

History: He was caught as a Pineco shortly before the Johto league championships and evolved a few weeks after capture.
Other: Forretress is one of Fuglrim's most powerful pokemon albeit indirectly, using a combination of spikes, poisonous barbs and pointed stones. Perturabo outlasts his opponents, forcing them to move about the hazards whilst whittling away at their health behind his near impenetrable defenses.

3. Gyarados
Nickname: Angron
Gender: Male

History: Angron was caught purely out of desire, Fulgrim wanted a Gyarados for both the intimidation value and for the challenge of training it. Raised from a Magikarp, Gyarados is now arguably the most powerful pokemon on Fulgrim's team.

4. Weavile
Nickname: Jaghati
Gender:Female

History: Jaghati was caught near Mt. Silver, and evolved a few months later after a battle with a wild Graveller.
Other: She preens continually and prides herself in being fragile but vicious, she is very physical and loves to tear down her opponents quickly and elegantly.

5. Kingdra
Nickname: Roboute
Gender: Male

History: Caught on his way to challenge the Cerulean City Gym leader, Roboute is Fulgrim's staple water pokemon and one of the power houses of his team.
Other: A wide variety powerful moves coupled with excellent speed and agility made this pokemon an obvious choice for Fulgrim. The unique Water pokemon was exactly what he was looking for as a trainer, and adds another dimension to the battlefield for Fulgrim.

6. Scizor
Nickname: Sanguinius
Gender: Male

History:Sanguinius was caught during a bug catching competition, the Scyther initially didn't mesh well with Fugrim, as he was a bit shy and reclusive. After some training and his evolution, Sanguinius became much more confident and aggressive and found his spot as a powerful brawler on Fulgrim's team.
