C-sections ought not be done with teeth. This is something everyone can pretty much agree on. It's a messy, horrible process that may or may not make one's uterus cringe in pain from the mere thought.
But apparently, THIS CAN HAPPEN IN NATURE SUCCESSFULLY. This is an example of an Edwardian Cesarean that apparently took place last month.
This brought to mind a few questions. First and foremost, GOOD GOD WHY?
Second, how many different IRL situations have you seen that made you instantly think of Twilight despite the lack of actual connections to the series?
Third, and perhaps more disturbingly, could that POSSIBLY be a sign that SMeyer did research and found that the teeth c-section could be done? Or is this just a creepy, creepy coincidence?

In twilight, not cool.
But in my opinion the fact a shark preformed a sort of c-section is pretty cool in my opinion.
And no, Meyer said herself she did no research. And while she may have tried to do research science wise, she probably just did a wikipedia overview over chromosomes and still butchered the science massively.

That was pretty cool, but we all know in the book it was more like OMNOMNOMNOM in stead of "You know, an effective way to birth this helluva child would be to rip open my wife's uterus with my bare teeth, for reasons I cannot explain."

Not to mention the fact that if Bella was changed right away logically her body would be permanently stuck with a huge weeping gash in it.
