Im Mr Turtle animoil6 Poke walker is just Nintendo's attempt to lower childhood obesity xp agreed xD but if you put it on your pants and cover it with a long shirt you get a decent amount of steps in especialy if you walk home 3nodding Ditto. Imagine how much steps you can get in if you wear it to school, and PE Class biggrin

Pandemik I walk, i just don't carry my DS around with me when I do. No, it's not connected to the DS in any way; it's like the pocket Pikachu things kinda from years ago(except it has a sensor thing that somehow prevents non-walking shakes from being counted). You can change out the back and clip it to your pocket or whatever to gain some experience and 'watts' as you walk around, which can be used to find wild Pokemonand items on it. I clip mine onto my pocket each day when I wake up, but unfortunately, I haven't gotten close to 8ooo steps in a day yet, so I haven't found a Flying or Surfing Pikachu yet (the only course I've tried is Yellow Forest.)

It only take about 8,000 steps for those? biggrin Cool, when it comes out over here, I should have no problem getting that when I'm working. x)

I think it's a pretty good concept to encourage people to become more active. Heck, I might even use it when I go to work since I walk a lot at my job.

Well, if you move it in a pendulum style, you can get steps. I put it in my sock and went back and forth like you were hypnotizing someone and I got like 5000 while listening to music in about a half hour or hour. I have only gotten one special Pikachu. A surfing one. I've gotten !!! like 6 times and I was only fast enough to get one once and I lowered its HP as far as I could (to one bar out of 4) and threw the ball and no shakes! It popped right out... crying
It is fun and worth it though! ^^

Im Mr Turtle zacmonferno ok so pokemon heartgold and soul silver has this weird free item in the box called the pokewalker. heres how it works, first you trade your pokemon from soul silver or heart gold into it(its in black and white =( )then you just walk around and your pokemon gain exp. and hp. wtf is wit technology theese days? you trade them back in who knows they could evolve? but there redy for battle. bad news it might be like the gay tomoatji. wtf?wtf?wtf? hay dont diss the pokewalker (i have a import of these games) the pokewalker BEARLY gives exp what its mostly good for is getting pokemon that are hard to get in the game by catching pokemon in the pokewalker such as feebass wailmer and snowrunt those are three pokemon that can only be caught in the pokewalker(there are alot more) so youll need to walk ALOT with this thing and its nessesary to complete the pokedex (unless you trade) AND ITS SHAKE PROOF unlike poket pikachu Yeah its fun ain't it? I love it. I just wonder if they will distribute the event courses shopping and the other one over wifi instead of at certain places in Japan...

I heard some people at my mall talking about strapping it to their dog's collar, so at least you're getting something out of it. XD

Wait, do you have to have the DS on you when you walk, or just the pokewalker on you?
