Alright, well, we all know steampunk is an extraordinary style, but unfortunately, my wallet is not nearly as extraordinarily stocked. So, I was wondering if anyone knew of where to get a steampunk victorian dress for less than $200.00. I've only got $200.00 to spend on an entire outfit...shoes, dress, goggles, hat, parasol, and hopefully, accessories. And please...anywhere other than ebay??

Think Thrift. Steampunk is all about piecing together an outfit. Have you ever read or watched a character in a steam-era fantasy walk into a store and come out in full attire? No. you haven't. $200 is WAY more than enough to get a great outfit together. Bargain shop and don't be afraid to haggle.
Also, for the brass-bits: Go drool at the brass in a hardware store.

Haha, alright. Now all I need is a car to get to a thirft store. You would think that living in such a poor city, you'd find more than one thrift store. Unfortunately, you don't really, and when you do, they sell old furniture more than any type of clothing...
