Yes, Optimus Prime is in the original comercial. I saw it while watching MythBusters (mass destruction on a small scale, and completely educational XD)
But if they really are going to make a Transformers/ Discovery Channel show, nothing couldn't stop me from watching it. Seriously, that's like a dream come true. I geek out evertime I see a car from the Transformers movie. blaugh

Yeah me too! XD When i first saw the commercial i was shocked to find Optimus in there! I can't wait to see what the new series will be like!! ^_^ heart

Transformers_Fan2009 toria94 Transformers_Fan2009 According to TFW2005.com they are going to have a TF series on the Discovery channel next year because Discovery and Hasbro are merging together. I think that is y Optimus is on there. because according to my dad Less stroud from Suvivorman has not wadded through a swamp yet so apperently there are going to be new episodes of that.

np happy to help. I am also checking the discovery channel website to see if they are saying anything about it yet but so far there is nothing on it. but my dad said that today they did say something about it but i did not find anything.
I also found a link for more info about the show it is mainly about the voice acting for the series.

sry for the double post guys but I just found out that the channel name for which the TF show is going to air on is called The Hub. u can check it out on www.tfw2005.com along with abunch other TF related news. It is a great website.
