Kirana walked into the classroom excitedly. Finally her dream had been reached. She almost skipped to the desk and sat on it looking out at her students. She smiled out at them taking in all the new faces. Some of them seemed to look at her oddly, though she was used to that. It wasn't every day that you saw a lady, in muggles clothing, with wolf ears and a fluffy tail to boot.
Her eyes scanning the class room once more she spoke to the class, "Hello dears, I am Professor Urufru, your new Transfiguration teacher. I'm not really sure what they thought you while waiting for my arrival so I've decided that today will be here more to check your knowledge than to actually give you a lesson."
She pulled out her wand and gave it a light flick transfiguring all the students writing quills into small rocks. "Okay this one is a very basic transfiguration, in order to get your quill back you must transfigure it back. Depending on how well you guys do I'll know where to start teaching you guys." she said this cheerfully and her tail flicked playfully as she beamed out at the call awaiting to see the results, "If any of you get this your first time there shall be a ten point reward for your house and a special smaller reward for the student." She tapped the desk and a small bag materialized holding untold goodies.
(Okay so everyone has a rock to transfigure.
I would like you guys to use the rolling system.
Roll a 100 dice trying to get an 70 or higher to get a good transfiguration.
You have three chances to get the spell right before I will fix your quill for you. If any of you have a lucky roll and get it right on the first time the bag contains 100 gaia gold (yeah I know it's not that great but hay it's a beginner lesson XD)

Mystik was unsure if what was now in front of her was really a rock, or some random gray lump.

Artemis looked at her teacher and then removed her wand from her robe. She flicked her wand at the quill and waited.

Kirana smiled and clapped her hands as Mystik transfigured her rock back into a quill. She jumped off the desk and rushed over to her, trying to hold back the excitement that was evident in her voice, "Not bad at all dear, you just earned yourself this bag and Ravenclaw ten points." She handed Mystikal the bag she had previously had on her desk, which unknown to the students held a chocolate frog. Her tail wagged and she walked about the class room looking at the other students results.
As she reached Artemis her smile faded a little bit but her eyes still remained kind. She examined the halfway transformed rock-quill and looked at her with soft eyes. Her voice was slow and smooth, "It's alright dear, I'm sure you'll learn in time. I don't expect you to know everything your first day."
She patted her on the back and gave her a reassuring smile before continuing to circle the class room and look at the other students work.
Approaching Maka's desk her smile returned seeing that yet another rock was back to it's original quill form. Her tail wagged and she almost cooed at Mira, "Very well done dear, I wish I had something for you as well." She patted her on her head and touched her quill making it Mira's favorite colors.

ooc: assuming it's alright to post after having signed up, despite not in the list yet (yes, I'm that impatient at the moment).
Kurayami watched and listened attentively before giving it a try, waving his wand at the rock in front of him to see if it'll turn into a quill.

James picked up his rock and examined it for a minute. He had an instinct that told him he had to be the rock in order to change the rock. He set the rock down and raised his wand to it.

And James changed the rock on the first try. Well, Olivander had said his wand was good for Transfigurations.
