The football players like it, but the cheerleaders and the band have a long rivalry...
However, the major problem is with the school administration stressed
My School got rid of the Marching Band before I even got to the school and replaced it with Pep Band, which sits in the stands and plays with no uniforms.
Even Pep Band only lasted my Freshman Year.
Then, the school district cut Pep Band!
So, yeah, the administration hates us...

First they decided to force us to share our two buses with the cheerleaders for games, and then for first state they attempted to fit us on one bus. Yeah, they failed miserably. They were all happy, because first my BD sent out only the bus 1 people. Then, he sent out all the bus 2 people. The district rep just stared at all fo us, then called s second bus, which took about an hour>.> Yay to standing in the hot sun with garment bags, instruments, hat boxes, and bags of entertainment/snacks for the 2 hour busride>.>

It's hard to say here. The faculty loves us mainly because we have the most successful program at our school, to the point where they designated a "band day" this year right before our state showcase. All the faculty wore the show t-shirt and they gave band kids a free meal ticket that day. But unfortunately we get blamed for our football teams horrendous (1-10) record. When we're there we play too much so they lose, even though we only play when the defense is on the field due to their whining. When we're not there for stupid distance away games, we weren't there to support them, so they lost. One guy actually made a bet with our BD that if we stayed the entire next game ( we left the previous due to woodwind danger from rain) he would go with us to Showcase. We did and after seeing us perform actually made an apology to the entire band. Though the football coaches dont like us that much. They had an entire field to themselves, so the school made us another one which we stripe and mow ourselves, and they kick us off to the parking lot. And when it's too wet for them to practice, they take the parking lot and kick us into a swamp ( go louisiana!) so yeah, it's kinda mixed here.

When we're in the stands we're right by the bench, as opposed to most bands that are by the endzone. And they have commercials during all the timeouts so we only get to play for a few seconds after those are done. -_-

My middle school hates our marching band, which I'm in. sad
They only announced us like 4 times? A few times for ussba competitions,one TOB,and Nationals.
AND. This football player in my language arts class was making fun of us because we won 13th place(i think?) out of 21. neutral At NATIONALS. D< Nationals is so hard because other crappy bands who win first are there. D<

yeah, that's like us, they don't really care, I mean it's like we're invisible. The coaches and stuff don't ever get near the band so it's more like they can't see us, we aren't appreciated enough.
