Autumn laughed, she found it kind of amusing that the gentleman was so fierce about her not drinking, but gladly accepted her offer. Shrugging after a few moments she nodded, she guessed he didn't really know how old she was afterall. Making her way through the crowd she kept her eye on Jasper and took a seat on a stool at the bar. "I'll have two cherry bombers heavy on the vodka", she said simply to one of the bartenders. Autumn folded one of her legs over the other as she met the man's eyes once more. "I hope you like your drinks strong", she said with a sort of evil grin on her face.

Jasper slid his way in between her barstool and the one next to it, placing one elbow on the counter and folding his other hand over it's opposite wrist. He absently looked behind the bar, noting the number of people and wondering if he would really work tonight or not.
"I'm the one who can hold my liquor. I do not hold the same expectation for you."

Autumn said nothing, but instead smiled, clanking her glass to Jasper's. "Then bottoms up", she insisted taking a swig of the mixture. Autumn winced a little from the bitter cherry liquor, satisfied she set her glass down neatly on a coaster. "Do you like it?", she asked curiously.

Jasper gave her a small nod in recognition, then downed his own glass with merely a blink when he had finished.
"Yes. It's quite good. I don't suppose you like the taste all too much though?" He waved at a bartender for another round, turning to focus on Autumn.

Autumn frowned, watching the man swallow the entire drink in a matter of a few seconds. Autumn looked to her own glass and narrowed her eyes, focusing rather intently, the woman gulped down the rest of her own drink. With a sour look Autumn shook her head from the burning sensation and placed the glass back on it's coaster, she would not be out done. "I wouldn't of ordered it if I didn't like it", she insisted.

Jasper watched the whole thing with a placid expression, then when she was done he turned back to the bar and burst into laughter. It took a few moments for it to pass and when he did, he dabbed a finger at his left eye as though the laughter brought tears.
"Forgive me Little, I just didn't think you enjoyed the taste of the vodka so much. It burns a bit at first, but as you age it will pass." He paused, as if thinking over the nickname he had suddenly bestowed upon her, but turned back to her after another second. "I would advise not doing another though, as I have said before. I don't know your true age, " Here he raised one eyebrow in a very "elders know best" way,"or how much of a light weight you are." He smirked to himself, casting his eyes about the club to take in the scene.

Autumn's heart sank in to the pit of her stomach, it was hard for her to be content when her company was laughing so hysterically at her. Autumn rolled her eyes, "What prompts you to think I'm so young anyways? There are lots of interesting folk in the Underground so I wouldn't go around assuming everything all the time", she chimed rather matter-of-factly. Autumn waved down the bartender and ordered another drink. Frowning to Jasper she took a sip of it and managed to keep her composure this time. Satisfied, Autumn stood from her stool and scanned the club, she was enjoying Jasper's company, but she would not be made fun of so heartlessly.

It was hard to keep his laughter to himself, but he was being to admire the girl so Jasper figured it would be best not to chide her anymore.
"Forgive me, Autumn. It is just in my experience that while there tend to be many types, many people still act in a similar manner. But you are right. I will not think the same of you." He stood alongside her, declining another drink and surveyed the crowd over Autumn's head, though really his eyes wandered lazily without really taking anything in.
"You are rather short and your face is very young. But please excuse me if I have mistaken your age."
For a moment Jasper opened his mouth to say something, but instead kept the comment to himself. It would do no good to mention to the girl her similarity to a person from his past, as staying mysterious was one of his favorite past times.

Autumn's frown quickly dissapated into a smirk as she turned to look up at Jasper. The woman felt an urge to blow out the man's candle as it flickered whenever he moved or gestured, but she shrugged off her desire. "I'll be the better woman and choke your comments up to compliments, really. I guess I should work on not being so sensitive", she said. Autumn cocked her head to the side, it looked to her as if Jasper had intended to say something, but she didn't want to pry. Chewing on her lower lip Autumn picked a piece of lint off the man's shoulder and giggled as she showed it to him.
