Who else gets tired of these fundraisers? I know I am. I remember the band selling yummy chocolate bars the year before I started band. I mean who wouldn't buy one? But now my band gets stuck selling magazines. Hmmm, what's better, magazines or chocolate bars?
Well, it's that time of year where we get to sell magazines, what fun. I've been "trying" to sell these things for about 5 years now and I've never even been able to sell one. Well, this year is our trip year, so this time I hope I could sell at least one to break my "losing streak" and help my band out a bit.
So if you're interested in buying (there is an online catalog for you to choose from) or renewing the magazines you already have please pm me for more info/questions that you have.
I'd love a goodluck here and there. Thanx in advance xp
p.s. What band fundraiser is your band doing this year?

I hate doing fundraiser. This year we are selling cookie dough and Zap a snacks. Some of us think that we should start a COD tournament and charge everyone $3 to enroll.

Oh non rien de rien... Oh non je ne regrette rien
We already did like, three fundraisers this year in band. Selling discount cards, food, and now chocolate.
Combined with the fundraisers from my clubs and Health class, I'm getting sick of it. Wenn ich ihre Haut verließ, Der Frühling blutet in Paris!

We have a bunch of fundraisers this year, almost constant because it is a trip year. At the beginning, like band camp time, we did a car wash, which was pretty successful(I skipeped it. Was busy that day, and we drove past and i hidXD) We also sold pie certificates for a restauraunt, and now we are selling candles(?) So far my fundraising funds: Zip. Nobody bought pies, and we jsut started the candles and nobody will buy. So now I have $200 due on the 30 and I don't have any. Gr. Doesn't helpt that I hate fundraisers...

We had a fruit sale. Who the hell would buy one hundred pieces of fruit for thirty dollars? It's impossible to eat that much! It would rot! Now we're doing a cheesecake/cookie dough/pizza fund raiser, and so far that's a lot more successful. (Cheesecake is yummeh.) And we're doing some spaghetti dinner thing in January. Tickets are five dollars each, and once you have a ticket you can eat all the spaghetti you want. Dunno how that'll do...

Our tickets are also 5 dollars, not sure when it is, but us band kid volunteer to be waiters or waitresses and the jazz band plays.

Our band always does the 'cookie dough fundrasier'. Although i love this because most of the proceedes we get goes towards out trip in the spring, still its just hard to sell because nobody wants to buy anymore.
