So I like to listen to KS95 (a local radio station) when I get ready for school and this morning they were talking about Twilight. Until now they've never really said anything about Twilight at all so I was a bit annoyed at first.
After the commercial break, they came back and were taking calls/texts about crazy Edward fan-girls. They sounded really disturbed by some of the people who called/texted in. One woman said her friend, who is 40 and married, has pictured of RPatts on her walls, a scrap-book dedicated to Edward, and a calendar FILLED with marking about when Robert would be on TV.
One teenage girl texted in saying that she and her best friend held a fake wedding for the best friend and Edward where she had INSISTED on being called Bella.
The good news? The DJs sounded HORRIFIED! Thoughts?

I was in Zellers yesterday looking at the Halo figures they have in the toy section (I love looking at toys that aren't Hannah Montannah and the likes, dunno why) and there was a Twilight Poster box in that isle. Anyway, some kid and his mother walk by it and the mother's like "See that guy? That's mommy's boyfriend." I kind of turned around and walked away before she could ask me anything, because my response would have been a little bit too colorful for her child's ears. Ω

Just when we think they can't get any worse or more obsessed, they just do... augh.
I'd love being the host of a radio station and making all sorts of anti comments once in a while.
Today, I was standing outside waiting for my BF to pick me up. My sister's friend was waiting to be picked up as well. She asked "I wonder why the moon isn't shining," to which I replied "Oh, it's probably on a new moon; it was on a full one during Hall-" she interrupted me with "OMG I AM SEEING THAT MOVIE FRIDAY." FML

On my local radio station KROQ (not sure how local it actually is) they had commercials that not only advertised twilight but made fun of it at the same time saying things like calling those who go see it Twitards and having a stereotypical Transylvanian vampire voice declaring this movie really "bites" and this movie will "Suck"

Russman (from cjay92, another station) sounded horrified at the thought of "New Moon Rising" (wolfmother) having anything to do with New Moon as he was clarifying that it had nothing to do with the Twilight saga!

My local radio station, The Beat, has 3 hosts in the morning. 1 male and 2 females. Unfortunatly, the females are Twitards, but fortunatly the male is an anti. I love hearing the male making little side comments after the females expressed their Twitardness. x3
