As the new Mizukage, Luo Ushio has enacted a new message system for all mist shinobi. As long as you are within the village, an ANBU member will throw a scroll to each and every mist shinobi detailing the events occurring within the village. Make sure to check this forum often as this will be where the contents of the scroll are described (since RP'ing that I gave each and every one of you a scroll is a hassle in itself.).

From the desk of the Mizukage,
My people of Kirigakure, as you well know a great tragedy befell our village days ago. Men and women's lives were lost unnecessarily due to the recent attack of the Five-Tailed beast. Countless shinobi lost their lives protecting this village, and we owe them our respect. I submit to you, people of Kirigakure, to recognize the ultimate sacrifice of these shinobi, and attend what has become the largest funeral procession in Kirigakure history since the great shinobi wars. I have personally payed for the burial of each non-shinobi villager who lost their lives, and compensated each family for their loss. However, do not thank me for this, it is both and honor and a tragedy for me to do these things. I apologize for the destruction done to this village, to your families, to your lives. And I hope there is a place in your heart for forgiveness and reconciliation. I feel as if I have lost a great deal of family that day, and it pains me to know how unprepared this village was. Rest assured, I will be setting in place immediately a course of action for invasion, demon attacks, and also incorporating a faster more secretive message system than these shinobi scrolls. It is usually only shinobi who receive these, but I send this to all villages, in the hopes that you see this knowledge as a pact of trust between you and I. Kirigakure will be ready for the next attack, and our people will never suffer this great a loss under my leadership. You have my word. The funeral procession will begin from the main village, and end in the shinobi graveyard. It will be a time of remembrance, and a time to purify the waters of our people, that have been stained red with the blood of our brethren.

Youth of Kirigakure,
I have noticed the lull in missions as well as activity within the village as far as genin are concerned. However, your time has come to show your loyalty to the village hidden in the mist. I've received word of small rogue factions closing in on our country side. If they are not stopped in time, they WILL reach the village. This, is an event I would very much like to prevent. Exams will be sped up this week in order to get squads out to begin patrol and reconnaissance. These missions will be received at my desk in person within the confines of the Mizukage tower, and a squad leader will be issued as well. Thank you for your time, and help keep our village out of harms way.

Shinobi of Kiri!
There is a great threat that is upon us! Upon recent discovery, scientists and med-nin banned from villages and considered rogue have taken residency in our countryside. Upon further inspection, the ANBU has discovered that there is a great illness upon us that they have inflected in an attempt to create immortality. A Zombie apocolypse is upon us unless we take up arms against them! We have here photographic evidence of their appearance in our countryside, and their fast approach on our gates. We have included in this message a description of each mutation, each more disturbing than the last:
Normal Zombie Mutation: Nothing except the grizzly appearance of these zombies are out of the ordinary. Their speed is relative to the person who was experimented on, meaning they run from being quite slow, to track-like speed. Be cautious of their bite, as it has been shown to cause paralysis and inflict an unknown venom that we are currently creating an antidote for.
Slug Zombie: This mutation in itself is rather odd. Despite the person's background, every zombie of this type is unusually slow to movement. However, they have been described as being capable of spitting a corrosive acid up to twenty feet in front of them and of a radius of ten feet. This acid burns through flesh straight to the bone, and although they seem uninterested in biting, they are to be dispatched with caution.
Demon Zombie: These zombies are the worst of all three. Their faces appear as Japanese Tengu, and from their bones have sprouted claw-like protrusions from their knuckles. These zombies are incredibly fast, needing at least three genin to tackle, and of special jounin strength. They have been seen to be capable of tossing people twenty feet, as well as rushing people in order to slash through skin. These claw-like protrusions leak a corrosive acid as well, tearing through both flesh and bone quite easily, however metal seems to be a slower process. We ask that EVERYONE exercise EXTREME caution while approaching one of these.
In the village, there are currently five of the first two, and two of the demon zombies. Everyday their numbers double, meaning by this time tomorrow, there will be instead of a total of twelve zombies, a total of twenty-four if some are not dispatched. We ask that ALL genin meet at Kiri lake and form quick dispatch squads and get to the task immediately. We fear they may breach our gates by tomorrows time.

As I have wrapped up this semester's genin exams, I want all new and current genin to appear at my office ASAP for a meeting. This meeting will require all mist shinobi and will first and foremost deal with squad placement. Dear Citizens,
A time of celebration is upon us. We must celebrate our past and the history of our village once more with friends and family for this memorial festival. It will last this weekend, and cancel all classes and work until the ending firework festival this Monday. This firework display will require that all genin report to be congratulated for their hard work and dedication during their preparations for the Harmonious Genin Tournament. Let one more generation be ushered into a world and village filled with compassion, not hatred and blood. I will see you all very soon, until then farewell and stay safe.
