"It's not that long when you've got someone to return to." He glanced over at her, a smile on his face. With all of his little cubs romping around back at his home, time seemed to just fly by while he was away. Every time he returned, it seemed like he'd been there for ages, but he loved every second of it. "You'll find someone just like that, I'm sure of it."
"Your den.....?" Mauja could feel the spark begin to ignite in his soul. His eyes glimmered, and he began to get restless. "How about we stay here for a little while?" He nudged her shoulder with his nose, leading into the den before her. "Let's have some fun, my dear. I'll make you forget your worries, if only for today." He was as sincere as he could be at a time like this, but he knew that it couldn't stay for long; his burning desire just seemed to leap up and take hold sometimes.
