I don't know if this has been posted before, but I found a great site for those of you trying to learn some kanji (better yet, it's the kanji that's on the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test!). Here's the site:
The Kanji SITE - A guide for students of Japanese Kanji
Once you go there, click the Start! button, and you'll be asked which you want: 4, 3, or 2 (the different levels of Kanji on the JLPT). So far, I don't think they have 1 up there, but they are most likely working on it!
They even have some additional words that involve the Kanji you have chosen. An example is that the Kanji for one also has the Kanji for January (month ONE) under it, and several other related words! How awesome!
Even better, it's got a side window so that you can see the Kanji on the left, and bring up the info on the right. Sweet layout!
For those of you who don't know, JLPT starts with level 4 as the easiest, and level 1 being the hardest. While they estimate it's only 150 hours of study for level 4, level 1 requires an estimate of at least 900 hours! So you better get working!
