There's probably only gonna be one panel pertinent to who won, and the rest will be an inexplicable reconciliation of feelgood proportions leaving the stage set for the winter event somehow.
The reason why the scores kept jumping back and forth is because people couldn't rally their teams unless they were losing. Later they probably evened out because noone cared anymore and both teams active member count dropped to near nothing.

I really don't think it's rigged.
I mean, honestly. Why would they rig it? If it was rigged, they'd have put up the comic by now, and the winners would have been announced.
It's actually glitched and they're looking over the real numbers.
