As a quick thought, get Persona 4.
-Kick a** fighting system and difficulty choice for beginners or dedicated people. (May frustrate simple people)
-Has chuckles and laughs because the voice acting is American. (In a good way; definitely not horrible in my opinion.)
- People get sucked into T.Vs, and trying to figure out whodunit is a bit cool.
- THERE'S A GAY GUY IN THE GAME!!! (Kind of, but his situation is hilarious.)
....but I haven't played Rule of Rose, so I have no credibility there. >->
EDIT: Did I mention that you get to spend "a long while with that guy until it got too late so you had to take him home" if you make the right choices in your relation ship with him? Yeah. cool

Hmmm...
Both are games that I've wanted to play for a while, although last time I checked I couldn't actually purchase RoR because it's banned in England.
I say RoR, so that you can experience it in my stead.

I remembered a review on X-Play (no pun, really) and decided to look up the game. I'm 90% sure that Persona 4 has more replay value than RoR. Then again, if you like the lesbian aspect of RoR to no end, go for it. I'd still root for P4 though, even if all I had to go on was a look at their cases in store and get a few glimpses of gameplay. ninja

P4 looks excellent gameplay-wise, but RoR has a fantastic plot & amazing aesthetic. + the soundtrack gives me a massive boner. i'm a total sucker for survival horror & even more of a f** for art games.
making decisions sucks

I've never played the games before. I wanted too, but never tried them.
