"Hey, wait, mister!" Elysiana yelped, then leapt from her chair and chased after the strange creature. She was more interested in him than in the strange faerie that was asking so many questions that just really weren't hers to answer (nor did she care about them too much, either). "Wait, mister! I want to meet you! Let's be friends!" she called, though she couldn't even see where the other creature had gone. She still wanted to see what he was though, and if he would be friends - the other kits didn't seem to be interested in talking to her, so maybe this strange new friend would!
"Wait, wait! What's your naaaaame?!?" She didn't know if she expected an answer or anything, but couldn't help but try anyway. As she ran, she tripped and stumbled, rolling tail over nose to a stop beside the woods, puffing up orange dust as she landed. It tickled her nose and made her want to - want to -
"Aaaaaachoooooo!"

The Alula heard loud trampling footsteps behind him. It's chasing him!
That— thing— whatever it was, wants to eat him! He then heard a
THUMP, as if a large boulder had just fallen. Or crush me! He thought
quickly, and realized that with those clumsy hooves, they can't climb
trees! He leapt on the trunk of the next tree he came across and clawed
his way to the top.
Melaine was beyond miffed. These creatures are a great pain in the neck;
they won't listen to her or answer her questions! She was going to end this
little get-together, and quickly. She conjured the Alula that went running
from the tree that he was in. It appeared out of thin air, hanging in her
hands by the scruff of his neck.
Melaine addressed the rest of the Kits that were left n her midst: "How
about it, Moonstones to convince your Fae to save this Alula."She
stuck out her arm that held the creature, like an offering. A few
Moonstones appeared in front of the Kits, though it was none that they
have ever seen before. It had a tint of dark purple glow to it.

Koko watched as Elysiana ran after the cat like Alula and winced when she tripped. When the little Alula ran up a tree the blue furred Kit stood up to walk to the pink Kit. Before she could even take a step the Fae summoned the cat like creature to her hands. Koko blinked in surprise when Melaine then shoved the Alula towards then and gave them dark purple Moonstones. She picked up her Moonstone piece with her tail and studied it.
"They are quite pretty but why are they a different color then we are used to?" she asked distractingly. After studying it for a moment longer she looked back to the Fae and Alula and looked over the frightened male. "I know you are trying hard to convince us to help you but would it not be better to bring her here or summon a portal we could talk to her through?" she asked, still skeptical about the Fae, especially now that she was trying to bribe them.

"Will he be my friend?" Elysiana asked, blinking at th moonstones in front of her but much more interested in the Alula and what he was like. "Is he gonna be okay?" She was worried about him, though she didn't know who he was, not in the least. Still, this wasn't something she could decide just on her own. Instead, she simply stamped her foot. "Let him go!"

A heavy wind started picking up, bringing the dust flying, and creating a
"dust storm," so to say. What's this? thought Melaine. She strained
through the swirling dust to try to spot the one who caused the
commotion. In her attempt, an abnormally large cloud of debris got in her eyes.
"Garrrhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!" she yelled, instantly dropping the Alula she
held captive and instead rubbed her eyes. The dust then started to clear,
but Melaine didn't notice. She was preoccupied with trying to get the dirt
out of her eyes!

"What are you doing to my friends?" Nix made her appearance,
seemingly out of no where, or it could have been that the dirt blocked her
from view until the moment she spoke and brought attention to herself.
"How did you find me?" Melaine ignored her
question, it was one that didn't need to be answered. They both knew;
they've met before.
"Simple, its where you always are. You forget that I
can use magick, too! You're not going to bring my friends to your side,
and you're not going to intrude on my land!"
"You are mistaken, my dear. These creatures have no
where to go if this planet dies. Will you be the one to hold responsibility
for spilling the blood of the innocent, when you could have saved them?"
"I don't know what you're up to, but you're up to
something and I know it! How can I trust you when you endanger and
steal my friends?"
She had a point. Next time, I have to try to be nice.
Oh how she hated that word! "Must we always play by your rules?"
"If you want to gain my trust and earn our help,
yes!" She turned to the Kits. "Come on, we're going home."Nix
waved her hand and a portal appeared, just large enough for the Kits to
walk through without needing to bend their necks. Nix, however, was a bit
taller and had to crouch a bit to step through. As she put one foot through,
however, she heard Melaine's voice behind her.
"Always the stubborn one, eh, Nix? Ever since the playpen days?
"What are you saying?" She paused, unsure of what to think.
The Alula took its chance. While the two Fae were
speaking, he darted through the open portal.
"You heard me correct, baby sister."
"You're no sibling of mine!" With that, she put the
rest of herself through the portal and closed it. They were now all back on
the banks of the river, where they were before being brought to the
strange land. The skies were clear again, and all seemed well. At least for
the time being.
"Let's go home." Nix was too tired to fly, so she walked along with
the Kits. She head was swimming in thought. Was she really my sister,
or is this another of her tricks? Why can't I remember?
Nix thought she saw something small running alongside their group, and it
interrupted her thinking. She stopped walking. "Who's there?"
The Alula shyly stepped out from behind a tree. Oh no, she thought.
One of the creatures of Melaine's world made it back to their world!
She wasn't going to kick him out, although she did not like this one bit.
There's no harm in just one of these, is there?
But the Alula didn't take Nix's consideration into comprehension. He was
fascinated by the pink one that tried to chase him. He walked over as if no
one else was there, and rubbed his head on Elysiana's forearm. Then, he
stared up at her lovingly.
"Looks like you're stuck with him!" Nix laughed.
