My shift bid kicked in yesterday. For some reason, I had it in my mind that I had a three-day weekend (I guess that's what I wanted or something). Actually, I had work. They called me halfway thru the day wondering where I was. >>
So I went into work about 5 hours late. To avoid getting a mark on my record for being late, I was given the option of working my hours for the remainder of the day (they were short on corporate). I did that, so I was at work until abut 10 last night.
In the meantime, I went to dinner midway thru my workday. I ate at a local Chinese buffet place. Work only allows half an hour for meals, so I ate fast and was ready to leave quickly... But that didn't mean I made it back to work on time. The cashier charged my debit card the wrong amount:
Instead of 9.95, he charged 99.50. And he couldn't reverse the charge. evil
I took change, and he tried to stiff me $10.
Never mess with a math guy's bill. Srsly. burning_eyes
Yeah. Interesting. Annoying.
