So I got called for Jury Summons this 27th.
And I am nervous as Hell! I keep counting the days till it is coming and I'm using the Jury Summons as an excuse to myself as to why I'm not job hunting right now.
My excuse:
"I might get an interview on the day or I might get the job and then I might be summoned back so I wont be able to do my job."
Pretty lame excuse I know.

But I am really nervous!
I have no idea what to do, I'm afraid I'm going to arrive late, not find parking, not even find the place! I'm afraid I'll do something stupid in the court room and that will get me sent to jail.
Seriously this sucks.
Any advice to those people who had a jury summons? What's it like? How long is it and how many people on average were there?

Jury's usually 12 people, I think.
All you'll be doing is weighing your thoughts on the issue presented.
I don't think it'll be too hard.

Don't stress out over it.

I've not had one yet, so I can't really offer advice.

Ummm, wait, you're going to be a juror, or is it just the jury duty thing? Like when they ask you to show up, cuz you might not even be able to serve as a juror then.

And, a job can't tell you you're not allowed to serve, cuz government > job. 3nodding ... Just thought I'd throw that out there, just in case somebody believes it.

It's just a jury summons not jury duty.
I don't know if it will be a permanent thing. I'm just nervous as to what is going to happen.

And I know about the job thing, but still it just sticks in my brain.

It's not bad, they just ask you stuff, you answer and then they decide, sometimes they decide before asking you stuff, cuz they might not be looking for somebody like you. LIKE A CASTING CALL!
