Rory curled around her protectively, spooning against her, stroking her arm. "I love you, Lee. Ain't a thin' e'er gonna change tha'." He moved so she could use his arm as a pillow.

Lee nodded as much as she could with her head resting against his arm. She hoped he didn't feel the slight dampness against his skin, her eyes starting to tear up again. And she thought she was done crying for the day. Oh well. It might actually help her fall asleep faster anyway. It really didn't take her long to become drowsy again, sighing softly against Rory's skin as she started to slip into unconsciousness. "I'm sorry," she whispered, not quite realizing she'd said it as she let her mind drift to sleep.
