I had to read the first book against my own will (class assigned project). Each word, each sentence, every paragraph, every page made me physically sick to my stomach. Honestly, I was holding out at the end, hoping that the huge battle between James and Edward was going to as slightly interesting as the movie made it seem. But, nope! Bella get knocked out so it never happens. Oh and it turns out that Emmett and Jasper kill James, not Edward. I decided to pass on reading the rest of the books and just looked it up on Wikipedia. Words can't not begin to describe my seething hatred for Stephenie Meyer or her franchise. I think it would be more simply put that if I have to put a lot of thought into her logic, I'm going to end up giving myself an aneurysm. Having a hot guy stalking you is a good thing? Giving up your friends because this hot stalker commanded you to is ok? Doing anything the hot stalker commands you to do is ok? ***** is ok? The werewolves aren't werewolves?! WTF MAN?!?

I read half the first book, facepalmed, and never picked it up again. Hell, I gave the movie a try, facepalmed again, and decided to keep away from anything related to the Twilight series.
