Stephenie Meyer doesn't know s**t about how schools work, but she couldn't think of a better plot device for Edward and Bella to meet under.
I can't think of any other logical explanation... xD;;

He can do anything, go anywhere, and he attends High School over and over again-with out even going the Dean Winchester way and banging a cheer leader?

I bet that's what he's going to tell Bella when she catches him in bed with another woman. " I have short-term memory loss! I forgot I was married! Not my fault!" That'd be hilarious. I can see why a vampire would go to school, but the flaw is they never age so it would be... awkward and extremely suspicious. I have a vampire character who went through modern school for an education (he was born in the 1400s.) But he has an illusion technique, so when he went through school he started off as a kindergartner, looks and all. My vampire just kind of... paid attention to his surroundings and learned off his twin brother (who isn't a vampire) who got stuck in a mirror and experienced anything the mirror happened to reflect. I'd go into more detail, but that's off topic. xXBisexual FlanXx Because he has short-term memory loss and keeps losing his...intelligableness. At his age, he could be tested for Alzheimer's! (I'm not offending people with that disease btw, in reality it's very sad :c) I know, right? He's like 120 or something! Most people with Alzheimer's get it when they're 70 or sommat! It's not unlikely.
