Hermione-Samara_Potter
I am reading HarryPotter and the Half Blood Prince(again), Everything is Illuminated, The DaVinci Code, Airborn, and Mice and Men for English.
But my all time favorite book is Shades Children by Garth Nix. Its about a group of fugitive kids to overthrow a corrupt government in the future. It is really good.
Shades Childrean is an awesome book!

My brother said he's gonna let me read Micheal Moore is a Big Fat Stupid White Guy and Do as I say (Not as I Do) Which is a bok about how the liberals are always contradicting themselves and screwing up but they dont get publicized at all but they crucify any Republican that even slightly messes up.

I have How to Talk to Lieberals (if you must) sitting on my coffe table, lol sweatdrop

I've seen Starship Troopers...I might read it...

Krav Maga: How to Defend Yourself Against Armed Assault by Imi-Sde-Or and Eyal Yanilov (in progress- this is the OFFICIAL training manual for the IDF martial arts system)
Moby d**k by Herman Mellville (complete-always a classic)

If I had more time, I would have been able to finish Carl von Clausewitz's On War. Guess I'll have to wait for fall term. Oh, another good book, if you like Patton, try reading Trail of the Fox (it's a biography on Rommel).

Oh that's a good one. 3nodding

I also liked Sawyer's The Seven Military Classics of Ancient China as well.

I just don't get and can't stand these Chinese "classics", though. I'll read them and finish the book, but all the stuff they mumble about makes no sense. It's all about the "Tao" of leadership, and mystic numbers, and useless crap. I got more out of Mao Tse-tung's Art of War, because at least he talks about guerrilla tactics, and uses practical examples.

Which reminds me, there's this great section on counter-insurgency in my campus library. I need to hang around up there more often.
