I never got to go to the Pokémon Center while it was still the Pokémon Center. sad Of course they would change it before I was old enough to go off to a place like New York without my parents, and my parents in a million years would never go somewhere that far away or that big. I at least did get to go to it last year now that it's the Nintendo store which is cool. I actually bought my Wii there, because here in Orlando Wiis were constantly sold out here everywhere last summer. I don't know if it's still like that now but it was impossible to get one here. I walked into the Nintendo store in NY and just bought one, they had tons of them stacked there. And yeah, Epcot does seem to have a lot more Pokémon stuff. XD But typical of Disney, their stuff is pricey.
I'm pretty neutral on Disney itself. I like all the classic movies from back when I was a kid but like pretty much everyone else, I can't stand their weird preteen aimed stuff like Hannah Montana and the like. My main gripe with things like HM is that it's producing shitty music that's going mainstream and ending up on regular radio stations. If they kept it on a kid's station, for example, it wouldn't bug me, but I don't want to be driving in my car and have Hannah Montana's crappy song come on, which I then must reach over and change the dial or attempt to insert a CD. I don't think adults should have to be subjected to this stuff. DX

I remember for the longest time, Pokédolls at Epcot were about $12, which wasn't bad considering their original retail price is Japan is ¥900ish. But in the past two or three years, they jacked up the price to $15. I guess the sucky dollar-to-yen ratio forced the price up?
As for shitty pre-teen music invading the air waves, that's why I listen to Real Rock. Though it does suck a** when Hannah Montana comes on Mix, but it's usually only once in a blue moon, thank the stars. Or maybe I just don't listen to Mix enough.

The price probably rose because it'll still sell at that price. If you're one of the few places where you can get something, it's ok to gauge the price a bit.
I can't really say I hate Disney, since I do still like the classic movies, the ones that have a number after the title, but that's the only thing I like about them. I hate everything else. Everything. The music they make, the animated pieces they try to pawn off as Disney movies, the TV station I don't watch, the radio station I don't listen to, etc, etc. I hate it all. Disney is all about the almighty dollar these days and unfortunately seems to have sacrificed quality, creativity, and originality for its cause.
Basically, ******** Disney.

So is there no other place in the US that has PC? That's so depressing; I've been vowing to myself that I would go there since I was like 9 and now when I have a means of getting the money to make the trip it's not there anymore... Man, story of my life.
As far as Disney goes, I surprisingly don't have any qualms about HM or JB (don't hurt me! *flinch*); scarily enough, I even find some of their songs catchy. Though to be honest, a majority of them, I don't really like that much. I have no problem with Disney, though I do question their really warped videogame with Mickey that they're currently developing (FTW?). Like everything else, they have their good qualities and the bad ones too. While I don't have a problem with HM and JB, I agree with the fact that they do get too much time in the spotlight and they should give other people with just as much (or more) talent a chance. *shrugs*

oh my god, that is my favorite store. Or it was, for that matter. My family lives in new york, so when I was younger my dad would take me to NYC and we'd go to store and I'd buy a whole shitload of toys. I still have them in a little bin. Then you could hook up your gameboy game to this machine and it'd give you a mystery egg. I can't remember what mine hatched into though.
Then I went back a few years ago and it was gone
