Pueblo's head tilted, wondering what she had done wrong. She could sense that this gryphon did not want to be touched, so Pueblo kept her hands to herself except to hold one just slightly out in case the ever-creeping Cerise decided to accept the kindly-peace-offering.
Not wanting to startle the gryphon, she bent her head up to at least grin at Nehanda. "Our list is kind of long...but feathers would be nice." She glanced back at Cerise. "And she has some really pretty feathers. Red might be a fun color for Pie since he is mostly grey. Whath do you think?"

Nehanda nodded and eyed Cerise. "Sounds fine to me. We had a bit of a tussle getting her out the door, so it wouldn't surprise me if there were a few loose feathers. We'll let her settle down a bit and I'll see what I can get." She sighed. "I really wish I knew why she's such a rude little brat. I hope it wasn't simply the seed pod. The main reason we're here right now is that she destroyed one of Foenix's favorite sweaters, and I thought it might be wise to get Cerise out of Foenix's way for a bit. Cerise is very destructive."
Cerise listened with one ear as she crept a tiny bit closer to the New Person's shadows. What was this Pie they were talking about? And why would it need a list of things? The shadows weren't giving her any kind of answer, so she took a deep breath and scampered from the protection of Nehanda's shadow into the shadows cast by Pueblo's wings.
