I did the same with my Warlock; put VW on defensive and some alliance player was like "RAWWWWR" and stabbed me. VW took them out in one shot.

I guess this could be funny to others, but I typed /afk before a battleground started once, and immediately left to use the bathroom. I got back and it was all "YOU HAVE DESERTED YOUR TEAM, NO BG FOR 15 MINS" Leaving me standing there going "whaaat ;-; " since it was my first battleground, I had to figure out what happened.

I heard someone say 's**t, my house is on fire, brb.' and another that said 'I have to go, my sister is having a heart attack' He said this after he got a call from the doctor, he thought she was having a heart attack.

I found out afterward, neither were lying. XD The person who said it first had could not play for 2 months to pay for repairs.

was playing with an attention whore one night a LOOOONG time ago and they popped in with this
"I think some dude just kidnapped a kid in the middle of the street. Someone buff me, Might is about to drop"
then after we all called him/her either an idiot who wouldnt even try seeing what was going on in the situation of a goddamn kidnapped kid, or was what or an attention whore who wants us to comment on it, he said "Going afk, cops are outside, should tell them i saw the direction they went"

but the funniest afk moment i ever had was with my guild leader back in bc content. we would always do s**t together waiting for an arena match to pop up and whenever he would have to do some s**t RL like make his daughter a pbj or something like that, he would put me on autofollow. well, an entire week he had been giving me s**t about not having a flying mount yet(mainly because it meant he had to run around on a ground mont), even though i was 70 for about a month. well i got the Headless horseman mount earlier that week(which pissed him off to no end) and while he was afk the time before i ran to SmV and got the flight. well when he went afk we were in negrand about to do an arena i had the horseman mount on and made a point not to jump with it at all and went to the edge of the map, right near the twisted nether.
i waited for him to let me know he was back(because he usually leaves auto follow until we get to where we need to go-lazy ********), called him a dirty b*****d, and ran off the side of the map. i floated in the air and he went plummeting to his death.
i laughed my a** off in guild chat, he called me a douche and g-kicked me for 10 minutes just to make me squirm XD

DPS went afk at the start of a heroic because her baby was in the fridge.

I had to go to the bathroom, accidently typed /AFK and got booted out of AV... I lol'd hard and smacked myself outside the head.
