{ ☆ How much more do I have to shout How much more do I have to cry Stop it I can't run anymore The world once dreamt closes ☆ }Quote: Username: Syusaki Guardian: Miki Ayukawa About the Guardian: Miki stands at approximately 5’11”, above average for an Asian eighteen-year-old. His parents hailing from Japan, he is obviously one-hundred percent Japanese with natural black hair. However, for one reason or another he decided to dye his hair light brown and streak it with red. He also has a side bang that completely covers his right eye. His skin a light, light tan from minor sun exposure and he also has a somewhat athletic and lanky build. His eyes are a soft shade of orange, always shining with joy and curiosity. He constantly dons a pair of earphones in his ears He also has a fashionable and stylish sense of clothing, courtesy of his older sister, Viki.
As one can probably deduce, the lad enjoys music. A lot. Coupled with this is his love of dancing, break dancing in particular. When not doing college work (college freshman) he spends nearly all of his free time practicing his moves as the music from his headphones blast in his ears. It’s sort of surprising that his hearing happens to still be in pretty good shape. Even as he does his homework or converses with others he happens to be listening to songs on his music player. His mind split between two activities, it’s not surprising to see that he often misses the main points of things and is easy to pull into various activities or favors.
Miki also happens to somewhat on the dense side. Assuming the role of the cute, but kind, dense boy of the class, he’s what one could call well-known. Perhaps even popular, although his hobby of music and dancing tends to prevent him from socializing with others. Always chipper, it’s rare to see him impatient or angered. Fear also happens to be an uncommon emotion, seemingly perpetually set on “confused, but cheerful”.
The fourth eldest sibling in a wealthy family with nine children, he’s more on the responsible side. Oddly enough, his family is also a bit on the crazy, rambunctious side. His parents constantly absent due to “taking vacations”, the two eldest boys (twins) of the family usually end up running the loud house. Having recently started college all the way across the country from his hometown, Miki usually lives away from home. He lives in an apartment by himself, but keeps it fairly clean. Not the greatest cook, at least the young man can whip up some edible meals from scratch. However, he’s still had his fair share of nearly blowing up the kitchen. Egg: 2 Ashe's Name: Quinn Ashe's Domain: Storm, she has an affinity with rain and other minor weather conditions, especially harsh rain. Able to usually predict the general weather, clouds also tend to ominously roll in when she is extremely angered. However, Quinn can also willingly summon storms and rile up strong winds and lightning. Ashe's Appearance: Quinn is short and thin with a medium tan. Her crystal blue eyes are often harsh and sharp, although they do light up with amusement and mischief on occasion. She has short, blonde hair. Her hair is somewhat messy and styled so that it looks like a boy’s. A tomboy all the way, Quinn wears boy clothes and takes a certain pleasure in being mistaken as a male. The fact that her voice (as well as her name) is ambiguous doesn’t exactly help in discerning her actual gender. Other than dressing as a boy, she tends to follow a sporty or casual style. Ashe's Personality: When approached by others, she is an amiable-enough person, although such occurrences are far and few, as Quinn tends to give off an aloof and easily-annoyed appearance. However, once spoken she is usually friendly enough to hold up a conversation, so long as it is interesting enough to hold her attention. She places an unusual amount of priority on how interesting or amusing something is. She enjoys causing trouble or pestering others because it’s fun. Anything or anyone Quinn finds interesting she will be nice to. However, it’s not that hard to get on her bad side. She is an impatient girl who is quick to resort to her fists. Also the type to do as she pleases, she usually ends up breaking the rules many times, but has her moments where she follows the rules because “there’s nothing interesting to do”. However, she remains loyal to those close to her, often showing it through small things rather than openly showing her affection and loyalty.
Miki is unperturbed by Quinn’s inclination to cross dress. Rather, he is interested by it. Being the dense male that he is, he is also immune to Quinn’s harsh remarks and mischievous teasing. This frustrates her at times, but accepts it as it being part of her guardian that she secretly cares for. Since Miki is still fairly young in age, they can also communicate to each other on a similar level. Although, at other times, they have such different wave lengths it’s like they could be from different planets. Prompt #: 3 Prompt Response: Being sick sucked. Really. It did.
A sullen teenager buried deep underneath the covers of her bed, she mournfully stared up at the whitewashed ceiling with her icy blue eyes. Sniffling, Quinn threw the comforter off of her petite body, frustrated at being holed in her room the entire day and the whole week, for that matter.
Short, messy hair disheveled in more than usual, she opened her mouth and loudly croaked, “Miki! I don’t want to be sick anymore! I want to go to the ball!” Voice raspy and throat sore, the blonde grunted and rubbed her neck, hoping to soothe the pain from suddenly speaking.
There was the scuffling of feet and the door swung up, Quinn’s ears picking up the “Whoosh!” that the speed created. A youthful lad curiously popping his head into the arm, his orange eyes glanced around before settling on the younger girl and grinning. “Don’t sulk about it so much, Quinnie Doll Face!” he replied, playfully smiling at his nickname for her. “You’ll just have to skip this one. Besides, you’re way better compared to the beginning of the week! In a couple more days I’m sure you’ll be healthy again in no time.”
She scowled at him. “I thought I told you to stop calling me that!” she protested, but then sighed as the college student slid forward and fluidly placed a bowl of soup in her hands. With a dismayed look on her face, Quinn looked up at Miki, who beamed back at her.
“Soup is food for the sick, right~?” he answered with a smirk and then strolled out of the room, the door clicking closed.
As she moped the girl spooned a bit of soup into her mouth before huffing and carefully placing the bowl on the nightstand next to her. Screw being sick! She could go to the festival if she wanted to. She was a teenager! Teenagers did rebellious things. And even if she wasn’t a teenager, she never bothered with the rules that often anyways.
Slipping out of bed, nimble fingers reached out to grasp the nearest, cleanest clothes she could. A ball meant formal clothes, right? She threw on a white work shirt and black vest on top of it. Pairing it with black slacks and blue converses (formal shoes were never her thing), she slowly peeked out into the hall. With it still being early autumn, the pair was still living with Miki’s parents and his other siblings. Despite his three older siblings being old enough to live on their own, they decided to still stay with their family. This made for a house that never seemed to keep quiet for long.
As if on cue there was a piercing crash that rang through the household that caused the girl to cringe. Muffled, arguing voices echoing down the corridor, Quinn tiptoed, always freezing whenever her shoes creaked against the polished wooden floor. Then she grew impatient with the speed of progression and bounded down the hallway, the sound of her footsteps masked by the noisy shouts and girly shrieks.
Stealthily slinking out the front door, she cautiously stared at the door as she closed it. For a few seconds she stood still as a statue before pumping a fist, victoriously grinning. Step one of going to the ball, complete!
Arriving at the Autumn Ball, she silently marveled at the size of the room as well as the decorations. The ceiling high as a tree and painted with fresco paintings, the walls and elaborately-decorated pillars creamy white, and tall, gaping windows that revealed the dark blue, starry night, Quinn was glad she decided to sneak out of the house despite her cold.
Soft, soothing music filling her ears, she proceeded to search for her fellow friends. Sharp blue lighting up with glee as she spotted them easily chatting with each other, Quinn strolled over to them. “Why hello there~ Have I seen you before?”
For how long she mixed and mingled with the people there, she had no idea, but it was for a very long time, she was sure. The sky pitch black, she figured it to be an apt time to make her exit.
Whistling a cheery tune, she closed the door and stopped in her tracks when she realized that there was a person before her, her guardian to be exact. She threw him a sheepish grin. “Oh. Haha. Miki! Hiiiiii. What cha up to?” inquired Quinn, an uneasy smile on her face.
He returned it with a strained smile bigger than her own. Arms crossed, he leaned forward. “Went to the ball, huh? Yeah. You’re grounded.”
Shoulders slumped and the girl trudged off to her room, feet dragging across the floor. She paused and looked back. “I regret nothing.”
