It depends actually. If it's delicious Texas pecan roast, or a french roast I take it black. If not, I put alotttt of french vanilla creamer into it. the liquid, not powder. >,<
i drink folgers with cream and sugar. if its a good expensive cup i feel bad tainting it with sugar and cream. but i rarely am able to get that quality of roast. once my friends came back from colombia and had this amaaazing coffee... i cant even explain it. it tasted like sweet chocolate even though it was completely black.

i love most more elegant coffees.... i like it black.... but mostly i love Columbian like real columbian coffee... i went there two years back for a confrence and the coffee and the confrence was amazing you should try it some time razz
