Might I remind you that the Master cheated death after his 13th and continued for awhile. That episode where the 4th explained that the Master had been terribly burned and what all... That was before Anthony's time.
That and the Master had somehow cheated death after he was incinerated during an execution on skarow.
Sooo.... anything is possible.

I didnt almost forget about that thing. I betcha that is "the thing that thumps in the dark" that the master is so afraid of. My thinking is that he got the whole "call to arms" thing all wrong.

Ah! I'm going to miss Ten! He's my first and favorite~ ;___;
I was nervous about them changing the writer too, but then I learned that Moffat had written almost all of my favorite episodes.
I dunno about Matt as Eleven. I've seen him in interviews and stuff, and he seems like he wouldn't be a bad Doctor. Then again... he seems rather inexperianced? Like I haven't seen him act at all. But then again... that could be a good thing. And I shouldn't really decide how good he will be until I actually see him in action.
I'm still going to really miss David as the Doctor, regardless of how good Matt is... D:

Sorry for double posting, but as for the Doctor's regenerations?
they'll find away around that if they need to, easy. They'll figure it out somehow. Like Lord Elwrind said, the Master's gotten past that several times over.
On Doctor Who, one rule seems to be "Nothing and no one is dead regardless of whether they've been killed or not."
Not Daleks, not cybermen, not anything. Shoot me for saying this, but not Rose either.

Remember though, The Master always somehow stole somebody elses body, or was granted extentions for various/nefarious favors to the Timelords, and they're pretty much all gone. I and my buddy both have theories. Mine is that the T.A.R.D.I.S. also being the last of its kind might just give part of its life and renew the Doctors life itself, so it won't be alone...cause it doesn't wanna be lonely either. My buddy hasa cooler idea though...retro story about the epic timewar, cause they don't ever really give any details about it in the show, books or audio dramas.

Freeze? I'm a robot. I'm not a refrigerator. ♥ Wasn't there something about the sash of Rassilon that let a Time Lord live past 13? idk..

After Jack's been alone with that hand in the jar.. I can see it mutating lol. wink Ok ok head out of gutter... I am interested to see the new doctor who episodes. When will us loathsome American's be able to see those new episodes? We always get the cool stuff last, like anime. I swear it takes like a year or two for us to ge an awsome series shown over here. Some times the same wiwth british t.v and theres no need to translate or dub it!

I don't know about this episode, but I heard that they're trying to get the Christmas and New Years specials out to us only a couple weeks after they air in the UK. So they'll have to get the one airing tomorrow to us pretty soon?
Don't tell anyone, but with my super secret illegal skills, I'll probably see it sometime next week. I wouldn't be able to wait.

You guys DO realize they're going to make a DVD box set of all the Specials? As for this timelord regeneration problem, I agree with the others. I think he'll just have to steal a body or something. OR Do the Jack Harkness way. Put his body in some wierd jar or something. *thinks of smarter ideas*

Oh I do know that, I'm just an impatient person when it comes to Doctor Who.
I seriously doubt the Doctor would steal a body though. There could be some circumstances... but I seriously doubt he would.

I'm really going to miss David as the Doctor. He was my Doctor. New Earth was my first episode, so it's going to be hard to let go crying crying . Though I can't wait to see what Matt will bring to the table.
The whole Doctor stealing a body thing eek

You may have thought I was dead...but you're wrong! I was..um...lost in the EvilCollege Black Hole. *nod*
Yeah I'm going to bawl in a couple weeks when I watch the last Doctor Who ep with David Tennant as the Doctor in it. David Tennant, IMO, IS the Doctor. He's MY Doctor. I'm totally going on thinkgeek.com and buying the "You Never Forget Your First Doctor" t-shirt.
